Back home and thoroughly enjoyed that today. Decent football on the front foot, grit, determination, spirit, good game management and a well deserved 3 points. Atmosphere was also quality when everything seemed to be conspiring against us yet again. The ref was abysmal.
Not getting carried away, but the last couple of league games give me hope that we are finally heading in the right direction. Well done to JB and the boys and more of the same next Saturday please!
Happy Gashead tonight. 😁

Slightly odd complaint…..is there anyone else on West Terrace who was distracted by the bright (white) light of the advertising on the other side of the ground? Can not recall it being that bad before or it may just have been the style of the adverts shown but it was definitely reducing vision of events on the dug out side of the ground. Particularly as the floodlights kicked in as the light faded. Cheers Yep. In our box we were all saying the same thing. Contrast seemed to be well and truely turned up today.

Such a fantastic performance from everyone, loved the fight and passion, they could not cope with the high press. Grant is a revelation at wing back, we hunted in packs and it was a professional bit of game management. Ref was abysmal truly shocking. Atmosphere was immense just like the old days. Well done Joey he s turning it around slowly.

Forgot to mention the pre-match Remembrance tribute. Very well done as always, I thought that the bugler was superb today - very poignant.

Am i the only person to think Rovers should put in a cheeky transfer bid for Taylor in January ? Smash our transfer record and offer them £500,000 with a sell on clause for them.
As for today ,best attitude and overall performance probably since GC left.

The comments on this thread are inspiring. I’ve checked the bus and it’s ready to ride all the way to play offs.

I think Alfie was brilliant.
As he is one of our own he is underrated but you can see he is a future skipper. He talks to Taylor all the time.
Finley messed up twice leaving Alfie isolated (once they were 3 on to 2) but he stayed so close to the man breaking from midfield that he had no space to pass and was driven wide and we got numbers back.
Then he did another Cruyff turn when Coutts gave him a hospital ball in the second half, when he had two Northampton players right on him.
How many diagonals did he put through to Grant?
Grant MotM but great performance from Alfie.

Stafford lad.Well thought of and featured in Stoke's match day programme v Bournemouth recently claiming he took a while to adjust to the 'Demands of league 2'.

I was a guest of the Warmley Rangers club who had a match day experience. My grandson got it for birthday. As a game it had everything, going one down, fighting back to lead, a sending off, holding on to win, though that didn't seem difficult, the last kick drama plus, a lousy ref. Everyone enjoyed it, it was a great day. I would say, the seats at the far end of the southwest stand were the last turkey in the shop at xmas, worse than my normal seat which is south stand, and the glare of the advertising boards dazzled.
