I was as well, Hinton the scorer if my memory serves me well. Also the scorer at AG in a similar way at the Micky mouse cup game. We had the whole of that end at Fulham for that game, noticed that no longer is the case for away teams at that venue. Something I remember well is the bookies kiosk behind the away end. Had a flutter on Rovers and got my money back on the draw. Great day out on supporters coach, this it was a Sunday game. Hinton was the scorer at Fulham I think, but the AG Mickey Mouse cup game, do you mean the one where Mark McChrystal headed an equaliser? I think Joe Bryan scored both Sheet goals against us? Jay Emmanuel-Thomas got the first City goal Joe Bryan their second

Bryan got the winner, Emmanuel Thomas scored a rocket right in front of us🤬McCrystal equalised. Oh yes I remember now, d'oh!

Despite living a mile from the gate and it being a school night I got the bus to Horfield and watched it on the telly in the Annexe, never a great fan of being corralled at that place. Although I did attend the first leg of the JPT semi-final there. and really enjoyed the home leg with Sir Rickie's rocket - BOOM

Parked at the Mem where there was a beam back, had a drink in the bar and then boarded a coach for AG. The fastest journey I have done in that direction. The police escort taking all the coaches down over bridge valley road on the wrong side of the road passing all the stationary traffic and across the basin in no time. An interesting night, ended by getting pelted with coins etc from the massed ranks of idiots who had invaded the pitch.

An interesting night, ended by getting pelted with coins etc from the massed ranks of idiots who had invaded the pitch. I remember the police losing control by being so preoccupied with the pitch invasion in the ground that they missed our ‘mob’ leaving and waiting outside the away end for loads of un-policed city to get there. It was mayhem and apparently the fighting went on into the early hours of the morning. I was booked into a hotel in the centre and saw a couple of people laid out in the street on my walk back. The worst I’ve seen at a derby game (having not missed one since 1990).
