Is it just me or does Baggins' comment come across a bit unsettling? Bags, what have you done with Hugo? 😬

Thanks for the comments and best wishes.Im not in here very often at the moment because of my present situation. After attending the away game at Exeter (which in itself was enough to put you off I contracted Covid for 3 weeks which started my health issues. Whilst hit by the Covid I came out in blisters on my leg and toes and two toes in particular got bad and I attended the doctors for about a month for dressing them and finally after that time i8 managed to see a doctor who referred me straight to the foot clinic as I am a diabetic. Unfortunately it took about five minutes at the foot climic for them to decide that I needed an operation in the next couple of hours to save most of my toes but more importantly my feet! I had the operation and managed to get away with the amputation of one toe on each foot. As if this wasnt bad enough within 3 days i was badly dehydrated and had to be put on to a drip as I couldnt eat anything at all. Things went from bad to worst and I had too much water and went in one day from 18stone to 20 stones 3 and feeling like hell and found I had contracted scepsis and suffered Kidney failure, liver failure and water on the lungs. I spen t the next couple of weeks in hospital on dialysis. My position n ow is that I am permanen tly on dialysis three times a week for 4 hours a day as although the liver recovered the kidneys have not. I have watched every game on VPN since i came home but have not felt like reporting on games that i only see on a computer. I can only walk short distances at the moment as my feet are now nearing healing. Dialysis is on a saturday morning as wellas a tuesday and thursday so I would not b e able to attend as dont feel great after it. My target is to get to a live game hopefully b efore the end of the season-Wembley would be nice!! My mojo is not a problem but it did make me smile. Thanks again. Anyone know how stevek192 is doing? He was someone who followed the club passionately all over but had horrendous bad luck as outlined above. Have often thought about him since the Scunthorpe game and wondered how his health is and if he managed to see the match and is able to enjoy the promotion.

Hopefully just taking an extended break. He won't be back. Shame. We disagreed on many things but always had a mutual respect for each other’s opinions. If you see him, give him my best.

😮 I miss Hugo and was only thinking the other day I’ve not seen him post for a while . What happened? Hopefully just taking an extended break. Hugo was kind enough to message me recently. I do miss him on here, he was part of the early morning gang of posters.

C-difficile and the awful disease hit my immune system and it was pure hell. I genuinely understand what it’s like to have several things at once. I had the priest come to give me the last rites as I was , openly told, that I would not make it to the following day. Sometimes you just have to hold on and fight for all you’re worth Take care of yourself my friend and be kind to yourself as you cannot pour from an empty cup. Really glad you fought it mate. That shows a strong character but sometimes it really is just luck and we all need that, at times like this. Hang tough mate Wishing you all the very best Julian

Spoken to Steve today and passed on your messages, I have told him to log on himself and reply to you guys. Not sure if he will though he seems to have lost his Mojo atm. Hopefully he will be back in the Mem soon cheering on the team. UTG Maybe the FFSC could find out and help him to come ? Would be a lovely gesture

Take zinc daily and you will be amazed at the difference it makes I'll have to try it. Saw pimento too, i am 58, 59 in not far and i started taking both , in my 40’s. It really is very good for your immune system and for males in particular. 15mg of zinc a day and the can can the saw pimento in many places. It’s good for the prostate and bladder and i have helped others by belling them this. Some things really need to be made much more public.
