That had to be gruelling for Sutton. Had chances to win it but threw it away as you say. Got to take it out of them and make you wonder if it will affect their run in. Having said that when we lost to Donny at the millennium we got stronger and sun at Wembley That Doncaster game and the way we fought our way back into the game seemed to be a big boost for our run in. The way Sutton chucked that away when all they needed to do was run the clock down will be very painful Hopefully mean they throw away a top 7 place as well and not be reinvigorated like we were

Tomorrow night Mansfield play Forest Green and Salford host Port Vale.
That'll eat up a lot of the games in hand people talk about and we'll have a much better idea of where we stand.

Absolutely but we’re now ahead of both Swindon and Newport when that seemed impossible not so long ago. Maybe the football gods will smile on us again like it did when the impossible happened the day we played Dagenham

We can guarantee it despite all other results if we do what we can. A great achievement from the team.

My take on it is autos are a step just too far imo If we do win 5 out of 6 which is a hell of an ask with the difficulty of the remaining fixtures then….
Fgr need to win 2 from 8 and they finish above us
Exeter 4 from 7 and they finish above us.
Port vale 5 from 7 finish above us
Mansfield 5 from 8. Probably finish above us depends on goal Difference.
That’s ignoring the rest.
I can’t see those teams winning less than that the form they are all in it’s massively against us to finish in that 3rd sport unfortunately. I’m happy to take play offs and hope we have enough to go all the way.

So makes tor an interesting question about Salford v Vale tonight. If we think autos are a stop too far, probably hoping for a vale win and make play offs more likely. But a Salford win really opens things up! Think we definitely want a FGR win. At least we can relax and watch from outside.

GD could come in to play as so many teams close together on both points and GD.

We have a massive squad, I think with so many games coming thick and fast now it’s going to stretch and test them more than us.

I think FGR and Exeter will take the top two spots so one place left. Vale and Mansfield can overtake or extend their lead with wins plus we have to play PV and Salford, genuine 6 pointers if ever there was one.
I'd prefer an FGR and Salford win although in reality I'm seeing a play off spot as most likely.

Mansfield will be delighted with that news given they still have to play them twice.

A salford-vale draw and a FGR win over Mansfield please. Would rather Salford win, they’ll still be behind us and port vale would miss out on a valuable point
