So if we do get promoted I was just looking at the potential makeup off League One next season. Along with whoever goes up alongside us and Derby, Barnsley and Peterborough coming down, the likelihood is that we'll also have Sunderland, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Bolton, Charlton, Oxford, Plymouth, and Sheff Wednesday. Gotta say that is pretty daunting.

Div 2 football will be more difficult as well with big spending Stockport & Wrexham coming up .

This manager and this club will look forward to the challenge. Ain’t no mountain high enough.

Many teams won’t like playing us.

Come on - we’ve been playing the likes of Sunderland, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Bolton, Charlton, Oxford, and Plymouth regularly already in L1 and also Sheff Wednesday not so long ago. Ok we got hammered by them !!

Don't think we need to fear any of those big names. They are down in L1 because they are not much good these days and don't have the playing budgets they used to, unless they're going to cheat, of course. Always a possibility.
Edit: Looking at the table, I'm wrong. They're almost all big or biggish (or bigger than us at least) clubs in the top 12 except Wycombe and maybe Rotherham.
We're doomed. Doomed, I say.

Cheltenham, Cambridge and Accrington are hardly footballing giants and they are all mid table sides this season. I doubt Plymouth, Wycombe and Oxford, plus possibly MK Don's, have big wage budgets and they are all pushing for the top 6

Our progress these days should not be in doubt. We have nothing to fear.
Rovers are at last on a journey that so many can believe in.
Yes, we have seen disappointment but now we see a different attitude of success around us.
Whenever I feel fear, I am reminded of this quote, from Marianne Williamson, famously used in the brilliant, inspirational 2005 film, Coach Carter.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
Another from same film, “I’m not your teacher, I’m your new basketball coach.” 😂
Rovers are ready to shine…

We have yet to achieve anything, let’s hope we do

Momentum is a big thing in football how many times do we see relegated teams struggle whilst others do a double promotion

Recall us stuffing Liverpool 3 0 in the pouring rain at Eastville.Peter Hooper was on fire.Tommy Younger in goal for them. The old Div 2-now Championship.11th April '59. One night match we drew 4 4 at Eastville with Leeds after going 0.4 down.Headlines next day on front page of the Evening World.Illustrious opponents in those days and we coped well-But we didn't have tents for stands at Eastville back in the fifties!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't really recall where the away fans went at Eastville but guess it was anywhere.
