We have such a good squad for this level, so pleased its all coming together and reaching its potential. We have to be confident we can get out if this hell hole.

DC's doing his 'Don't get carried away' bit on the radio. Gotta love him.

Thats all well and good but just hope we can get over our jinx playing lower end clubs I think we can all look forward now. We are on a league unbeaten run. Won four games on the trot. 4-0 today. We can leave our fearful days behind. We are now confident to take on anyone. We need to beat teams like Macclesfield and we did. Continuing my hopeful approach to life and this football club. Three.

DC's doing his 'Don't get carried away' bit on the radio. Gotta love him. Calming expectations is what managers do. Doesn't stop us expecting this club and the fans expecting us to go on and win the league now. If you were in the dressing room or in any team and any league in this position we would all think we can win the league. A sunday league team in this position would think the title is within touching distance. Im OK for calming expectations, but lets not settle for 2nd place. Who are Barnet anyway!

I should have made it clearer.

We can beat, and even outplay, any team in this league. It's coming together better and better. I wish we had another go against Barnet.

Monkhouse doing the usual thing, pretending only our results matter and what Barnet do is barely relevant. Makes me smile.

If he means Clarke then I thought the same at the time. Next move we were 2-0 up. Suddenly it's 4-0. Clarke is a tactical genius.

He is indeed tactically astute, and never afraid to make a big call or change a game plan mid game, he will do what he thinks is best to get three points at every opportunity, looking back from today to the end of August its clear he gets it right a lot more often than wrong IMO, im more pleased for him at the moment than anyone at the club, he has unfairly come in for some nonsense, even last month when we were twice beaten in 18 games!!!

Clarke for gosling! Just thought at the time it was a bit early but it paid off so fair play. You will notice I didn't slate dc and put a question mark in there. More thinking out loud! Chuffed today though. Look so much fitter than most teams which can only bode well during the run in. UTG

UTG And this is what DC does Lulworth, he gets people scratching their heads over certain substitutions and can see where you are coming from with Gosling as he has found form, I think DC is constantly thinking about the long game and fitness/energy levels and keeping players hungry and on their toes, we wouldn't have been the only people wondering why Gosling was reprieved of his duties so early in a game in which he has found form, but i bet he is busting to get into the first 11 for Torquay in a few days with plenty of energy not having played the full 90, I think DC is showing some real tactical maturity for someone aged 36, UTG.
