Was quite funny seeing a load of knights run onto the pitch.
Meme worthy if anything.

I guess this wouldn't have happened if the majority of away fans had only been given access to the away terracing, probably something TG and the sag completely overlooked when allowing away fans full access to the south stand?

They are a horrible vile little football club. Let them have their day in the sun and that's all it ever will be. A hypocritical crackpot of a owner who will eventually bankrupt them. Pretty much exactly my feelings as well bluebiro. I said as much on the ‘respect’ thread yesterday. I shall raise a glass if Exeter beat them to the title (it will massive help us if they do as they’ll have beaten vale and cobblers!) Worth noting that FGR have Mansfield on the final day, so we kind of want them to win the title if it means beating them

Shouldn’t laugh really but one of the strangest sights I’ve seen since West Brom fans fighting in togas back at Twerton!

You say this wouldn’t have happened like something awful happened. It was a small club winning promotion away from home , a couple of hundred filled the penalty area and had a nice time for half hour. I really don’t see the problem. Yes the stewards could have done more but couldn’t they always .

Rovers clearly don't agree with your own views as it sounds like they also intend handing out banning orders: www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-rovers-release-statement-after-6990690

Has football in this country ever been any different ? Were there people on here complaining after we beat Wycombe invaded their pitch thinking we’d escaped the drop ? If we’d won promotion at Forest Green would we have invaded their pitch to celebrate with our players ? I’m genuinely interested in your answers. I think the answer is yes to all of them

Walking off from the West while clapping our great team and the sprinklers went off and...one went right up the jacksy of some soppy twat from Nailsworth. He was about 14 and it made me laugh more than was appropriate.

As I said can’t blame FGR supporters for coming on the pitch.
However, naturally as a gashead I’d want to see them fined as a club because they’re damaging our pitch when we still have important games to go.
Our supporters, no excuse however, what reasonable justification could there be for their actions?

What a cr@p rendition of Southampton v Tote End rules the west?
Come on girls, get with it... No one was wearing flares, for a start. And no one had a corner flag.
0/10 for artistic influence.....but there was an air of Lord of the Rings about it seeing the Knights take stage against those weird inbred pointy eared fairy vegan folk, so I guess that's something at least...

Agreed and what the feck were the idiots dressed as St George, obviously because it was his day, doing coming on to the pitch. They should be banned, what on earth were they doing going to a Rovers game in red and white!

Well done to FGR, best team in Division over the course of the season. They made some noise, enjoyed their day and celebrated in the manner that true fans do.
The rest of nailsworth were probably watching Arsenal Man Utd. I'd much rather see local fans supporting their local team.
Do we really resent a small team have their moment of glory?

I don't begrudge them their celebration, we'd have done the same in their position.
Shame that our posturing chavs showed us up.
My niece's 7 year old daughter was one of the mascots for the ladies game. They arrived at The Mem to see police vans, police cars and dogs in the car park - not a great impression for their first visit, don't think they'll be keen to come and watch the men play.
