So if he has 30 weeks left at 5k but secures a new club deal at say a 2k a week, Bournemouth have to pay him 90k?? Which would come out of the transfer fee??

Which would come out of the transfer fee?? not necessarily...he and Bournemouth could cancel his current deal snd he signs 2 1/2 years on a much lower wage but gets long-term security. I suspect it will be a little from column A and a little from column B...

We will find out within two weeks if:-
1 - he really wants to come to us as suggested by DC 2 - he will go to whoever gives him the best contract

You are too sensible for me.

I reckon it's between us & Pompey.
Rumours that Bournemouth want Jed Wallace and may pay £1m and throw in Tubbs.

If he's been playing for Wimbledon all season he presumably has digs and is getting to know the area. Why would he come to a non-league club for a massive paycut when Wimbledon and Portsmouth want him? It doesn't make sense. We have no announcement of interest from the club beyond anecdotal DC quotes and evil post column inches. I reserve my right to be incredibly cynical.

He can only remain on 5K if he stays at AFC on loan. If B'Moouth wish to sell then he'll more than likely have to accept a lower wage (although B'mouth may pay him some compensation)....so stay at AFC for say 1.5K a week or move for 2k to Pompey?? Could we be appealing for say 1.75k?? Who knows,

Maybe a Conference Championship medal or a Wembley Play off winners medal + being one of the folk heroes that returned league status to the blue half of Bristol might just be better career defining achievements than an I kept AFC Wimbledon/Pompey in League 2 badge?

Looks like a loan until end of the season with paying a better % of his wages than Wimbledon then a 2 year deal if we get promoted!

Probably as reliable as the Easter will sign posts?
Anyway if Tubbs has got any sense he will at least wait until after tomorrow's game before weighing up his options.

Whilst the poster called Blisset's signing right he clearly got the UWE announcement hopelessly wrong!
What's going to games got to do with this thread, anyway I bet I've seen more games than you this season?

How do you but in on an open forum? Anyway, if this is a done deal then should be today right? Transfer window opens today. If not I expect a whole window of tubbs talk followed by a last day loan signing of crawley towns under 18 b team striker.

Perhaps if you actually watchwd Rovers a bit more often you'd have a bit more respect for fellow Gashead's.
