The club is delighted to confirm that following a review of the operations of the first two fixtures from the Safety Advisory Group, all restrictions have been lifted.
As has previously been stated, following meetings of the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) and the local authorities, the club had to adhere to a reduced attendance in the Thatchers Terrace for the first two fixtures of the season. These sanctions resulted from several operational issues, with a particular focus on crowd behaviour at the Forest Green Rovers and Scunthorpe United home matches at the end of last season.
Over the past two games, the club has been subject to a number of inspections from all aspects of the Safety Advisory Group and we are pleased to report that their concerns have now been addressed.
As a result, the North Terrace will return to its full capacity for this weekend with additional tickets now available. In addition, tickets are available on the East Terrace and South Stand.
In order to ensure that the sanctions do not return, the club would like to remind all fans inside the stadium to abide by our regulations, with a particular focus on keeping the stairways clear in all parts of the stadium.

So Pete tweeted an extra 500 tickets now available to buy in the Thatchers (not 300 reduction then as Bristol Live quoted). I know capacity changes depending on away allocation and segregation, but with this being lifted, the extra standing room in the east terrace with the stand gone and no segregation needed between the standing away end we must be near 10K cap for this weekends game?

Very good news that all restrictions have been limited. However it is disappointing that we still not know what the capacity of the ground is. It should be up to at least 10,000 now. No excuses for Saturday’s game plenty of tickets available around the ground including approx. 500 in the Thatchers end and hundreds in the South Stand.

So what are the EFL going to do now, identify all the pitch invaders and ban them?

So what are the EFL going to do now, identify all the pitch invaders and ban them? There are minors amongst them. What looks like women, too. Or, non males put it like that. EFL have set the default to prosecution for all individuals. Oh how ironic that any financial gain from Crawley through this result may be usurped by an EFL fine and/or SAG embargo...?

Why is it very disappointing that we as fans don’t know what the capacity is? Why do we need to know? The club know how many tickets they can sell, and it’s now more than they could previously. Which is all that matters really, no?

But we must be the only fans in the country who don’t know what our ground’s capacity is. 😂
