As another poster said on the other thread, fairly sure they aren’t the actual badge proposals. More like, do you want something related to A, B or C etc… That's exactly what they are, and anyone who thinks that the new badge is going to be one of the three designs needs to go and have a lie down in a darkened room, as clearly daily life is too much for you  |

Personally, I do not want the badge changed, can you imagine if say some faceless person wanted to change the Liverpool badge. Ye right that would be in the bin within seconds.

I quite like the idea of some sort of skull and crossbones/ cross swords design. I assume with some work it could look quite good. I’ve never really liked the current badge. On the other hand, if I’m wrong and the the design in the survey IS the finished product then no thanks (looks like a weird head eating a couple of bananas!). |

I don’t do Facebook but I’d hazard a guess the Rovers page group is a bit younger than on here . Would be interesting to see if our younger fans feel the same way about the designs as folk on here do ? The average age on here is probably 50+

I have been waiting for about 40 years to see the last of the half-witted "politically correct brigade" and now we have this abomination. As for the badge I, like any reasonable person, was quite prepared to listen to any suggestions as to improvements in design and, perhaps naively, answered that I was open to argument. To have this view perversely spun to suggest that I want a change is simply outrageous. |

Check out my avatar - I’d be happy with that. I like that olskool. I've just responded saying no to all the shapes as they are bog standard like everyone else, and ditto the designs. My comment was along the lines of keeping our quirky badge shape but to toughen up the Pirate and make it more obviously a Bristol Pirate. The latter point might not be obvious to others but we would all know if done well |

I voted "none" to all the available options for shape of the badge, font and the logos. All truly awful I'm afraid and none are a patch on our current crest.
I'm all for exploring ways to expand our marketability and supporter base, but these should be working around our current crest and identity, which is perfectly fine as it is.

Surely you can see that the changes they made are subtle alterations and not a complete concept change. To put in Wael speak evolution not revolution. Big difference from ripping it up to start again. I don’t think supporters would be against evolution of the badge to handle some of the issues the club seem to be so worked up about. Slightly different font, pirate contained a bit more to the roundel with perhaps the blade pointing down instead of out making it non symmetrical. I’d be fine with that. |

Just shrink the pirate, or slightly change the design, so it's inside the circle and boot out the ball and it seems the perfect modern badge.
