No disrespect to the Mem, but I have often thought that the reason why we have such good away support is partly due to the fact that away from home we get to see the team play in much better stadiums on the whole than The Mem which is still to progress beyond the appearance of a rugby ground .

Not entirely sure ‘because our own grounds a crap heap’ is one of them though😄

Imo, since the 70s, for me it has never been about the away ground; its always been about the away day match experience, and long may that continue. |

How many times have they sold out this season? What is their percentage of capacity Vs ours? If we had a ground the size of Trashton I guarantee we would have a significantly higher home average, plus remember they are in a higher league than us with clubs with bigger grounds and support, the fact that we have an away support nearly 200 above theirs is pretty decent given all the factors. |

Why would fans turn down the chance to go to Championship grounds just because it was a few £'s more expensive, perhaps in our 2nd or 3rd season away follow may drop off, unless we were challenging for a top 6 place by then. |
