Edwards , Greens and objectors haven't got what they wanted. The stand has been constructed and when completed the club will be able to apply for a temporary certificate to use it as they have done with the South West corner. Objectors wanted the application to go to committee so they could vote against it and now it may well not. So I would say they have been well and truly sh*f**d I hope your right werton. I have a horrible feeling that these cretins will delay it again somehow and we won't see it in action until next season. That is after all their "agenda" imo. A result for them is a delay and public exposure for their party. |

If we withdraw the application and put in a new one, doesn’t that mean it’ll take longer? Last time it took about 4 months to even get on the portal didn’t it?
Even if it doesn’t go to committee would it now push us into the new year?

Thankyou Rovers have withdrawn the planning application and it's assumed will now submit revised plans with the issues raised by the Greens now dealt with such as the solar panels. It's also assumed the revised plans will then get approved without the need to go before the committee. |

Just seems an odd or even paranoid to believe a person or group has an agenda but have no idea what it is. A bit like thinking I'm 'clearly' someone else in disguise. It would be paranoia if there wasn’t previous experience of these people regularly doing their upmost to disrupt and delay progress around Bristol. Trying to understand their motives is a waste of time - like trying to understand why vandals take pleasure in breaking and ruining things. Well taking pleasure in spoiling things is a motive. But it's a weird way to imagine adult human motivation so trying to understand motives and agendas is a pretty useful way to spend time if you want to provide good arguments against people. |

Imagine voting Green. Perhaps just vague notions of being kind to the planet and having green spaces is appealing to the average voter, who doesn’t think through the practicalities.
They are the kind of people who think in slogans and haven’t got the first clue how to actually achieve their aims, yet know very well what they’re against. Which seems to be everything anyone else wants to do.
They literally prioritise the needs of trees, badgers and woodlice over the needs of humans. This is Bristol after all, it’s very much a microcosm of useless malcontents these days.

Also how would the club get a safety certificate for the new stand to be used? Safety certificate is totally separate from planning Is it? Who would sign off on the safety certificate? |
