Also how would the club get a safety certificate for the new stand to be used? Same as they did on Saturday, when we used two temporary stands which had been erected in a building site? How did they do that Topper? What organisation signs off on the safety certificate?

If we withdraw the application and put in a new one, doesn’t that mean it’ll take longer? Last time it took about 4 months to even get on the portal didn’t it? Even if it doesn’t go to committee would it now push us into the new year? I doubt it matters as Rovers seem to be carrying on building the stand regardless of pp? But there’s a difference in having the stand built and being used? On the previous application we’re looking at October for fans in. Now we’re looking at 2024?

Maybe something around floodlights? Unless the club have been told that permission will not be given without more to combat of the environmental impact.

Then apply for PP retrospectively whilst we all take selfies and flick middle fingers at BS3. If it gets refused then the forum can have a right bitch about it, but it'd show some intent from the new owners at least.

To me the structure design is different to the plans, there’s one less pillar than planned, are they changing to go into the away terrace?

They literally prioritise the needs of trees, badgers and woodlice over the needs of humans. This is Bristol after all, it’s very much a microcosm of useless malcontents these days. Well at least they've got that right. I prefer Trees, Badgers & Woodlice over some humans. At least you won't find any Badgers watching GB News.

Usually it is Officers in the Health and Safety Executive and Enviromental Services dept of the Council, it is seperate from planning and building control.

I'm not expecting any kind of statement from the club about why it's been done.
I'm thinking the new owners have said this is a farcical situation and have decided to do it properly this time, before we have a fully constructed stand without planning permission to actually hold any spectators at all.
But I wonder if we'll ever know. These things seem to be top secret.

The new stand steel work looks impressive and im hoping that things go well and we’ve got Gasheads in that stand ASAP. After decades of false dawns I refuse to get excited about talk about this or that regarding stadium improvements or moving to this site or that site footprints of what we could do and so on and so forth. But this is progress at least. UTG

I’m trying to understand when the stand will be available. Or on your almighty opinion am I not allowed to ask questions on here? While you’re busy running the forum, any other threads that should be locked or deleted?

Safety Certificate required comes from others and given we have been told we are using a compliant kit of parts for this temporary stand it should be straightforward (but hey, this is Rovers) UTG!

If we outsourced and placed our trust in external planning experts first time round what would the new owners do differently that would be classed as “doing it properly”?
