Gloucestershire CC wanted to expand the stadium to 20,000 capacity but were rebuffed after local objections. It happens. It happened to us. It's not a Green conspiracy, and not a Bristol Green conspiracy. Some on here just want to find someone to blame because it went wrong and we've now had to resubmit the plans. I'm sure it will all be approved in due course, having now done it properly. Can you provide a link it was rejected by local objections ?. As I understand it was recommended by an officer . Then it was rejected at the committee. But later was approved. The decision was nothing to do with wide spread local opposition like we faced . When you say " we want to blame someone". Everyone is entitled to their democratic opinions which Greens seem to loath. I still hold the opinion the Green Party are actively supporting local lobbyists . In fact there is clear historical evidence on the Green website if you care to read it !. It was just a BBC news article that said they decided not to proceed after local objections. Not a planning document. I'll try to find it if I can.

In fact I would be grateful if you can provide any link were the Green Party have supported local objections against Gloucestershire Cricket or Bristol City football club . Bearing in mind Bristol City built a 27000 revamp and Gloucestershire cricket can expand the ground to 18000 along with gigantic flats. All we are asking for is a 3:500 small stand. Let's await and see if anyone can give one bit of evidence in 20 years whereby the Green Party have supported local lobbyist against the two sporting venues (Bristol City or G.C.C.C ) ?

I think it's because as you seem to struggle to follow topics. That has become apparent on other topics where I have had to explain to you in simple terms. This particular fork in the discussion is due to the fact that I said we maybe shouldn't add lots of comments to the new application and someone asked why. I then posted a link to where councillor Edwards had pointed to the number of comments was one of the reasons she gave for calling it it. I think I have been pretty clear what my obsession is, I have stated it many times. I think we f**ked it up. I’m not convinced you genuinely think we f**ked up but you are so desperate for that to be the case you’ve made yourself believe your own bullshite - I still don’t understand why you are so desperate for Rovers to be cast in a bad light? Is it the club you dislike or the owners or CEO? I'm not too sure anything I have said has been proven to be bullshit. I think (as always) there are two types of person. One who has already made up their mind without reading everything and their only avenue then is to hit out. They use personal insults and terms like "Bullshit", which is a little bit lazy. If the only thing to add to a topic is to have a go at the poster then don't post. That's just acting like a bully in the playground. If you want to debate and point out each thing you perceive to be bullshit, then great that is what a forum encourages. Then there are those that question politely, are more open to discussion. They have raised interesting questions that have got me thinking about the situation more. I embrace that kind of approach and I think I have responded succinctly to those questions. Never being disrespectful or dismissive. I have been transparent on other topics. The CEO has been going around the club demanding a more professional approach (a good thing). The ones that have not shown a more professional approach have been 'let go'. There have been a couple of situations now (very important situations for the club) where that CEO hasn't shown the professional approach required of staff, so it's time for him to go. One thing that we should all be aware of is that everything is connected. With that I mean we want better facilities and a better match day experience them we will be the ones that end up paying for ut. Whether that is through increased ticket prices and food prices or the Pirates pot. This whole debacle has lost us money. Tens of thousands, if not over £100k so far this season (no evidence, just a guess). We should never have started until planning permission was given. We should have left the South stand tents up for the majority of the season with PP in our back pockets. If we are chasing promotion then leave the tents up. If we are in mid table when PP is given then start the build in March 24 ready for next season. Its not rocket science.

I just had a quick search of the BCC planning portal - maybe they have changed the system or remove certain documents for older applications but 11/02609/F was the 2011/12 application that was refused and 12/01237/F was the 2012 application that was approved with some conditions - and neither show any public comments any more (although all the other documents are still there)

I appreciate your feedback, I can certainly understand your point of view. The only reason that I have been responding with that response on a daily basis is due to posters asking what my agenda is on a daily basis or why am I so interested on a daily basis. I can understand why no one coming to the topic wants to go back an read the 250 pages of comments. Its also from those that have been involved in the conversation asking me the same thing over and over again. What's your agenda? I answered that ages ago... So the thing that is upsetting people is that I keep saying that I think we have f**ked up. However, if you look back. That is in response to a question from someone that says "Why does it matter" or "Whats your agenda". If those questions weren't continually being asked, then I wouldn't have to keep saying it.

The forum has an option to look back at all the posts by poster - so I thought I'd scroll though your most recent posts... ...it *seems* pretty clear what your agenda is in terms of the club and also people who disagree with you...

Does anyone know if we have a date for stand completion and target first match it will be open for? With Exeter being postponed next week, the contractors should have some extra time to get on with it without stopping next Friday to put in temp seating. again Next home game is Tues 24th
