Apologies if this has already been done to death ( I haven’t read through all the posts ) where will the food outlets be in the new stand ? Surely there isn’t room under neath the walkways ?

How anyone can scoff at the new addition I’ll never know. The tents always made me shudder but now having laid eyes on the almost complete south stand, the thought of that old blue n white striped marquee makes me wretch😫🤣

It ain’t temporary though is it ? 😂 |

 Here's a reminder of how it used to look. And we're complaining about the odd pillar. Look how many were on them bloody tents and it barely went half way along!  And another bearing in mind the new one looks marginally bigger than the West Stand. What a difference! |

It’s a reasonable start but really the bare minimum that the various custodians that have owned the club since we purchased The Mem in 1997 should have achieved. It’s still not a touch on a stand City built in 1994 if we’re honest…

The tents always made me shudder but now having laid eyes on the almost complete south stand, the thought of that old blue n white striped marquee makes me wretch😫🤣 Quite agree, I’ve been watching the gas for best part of 50 years & after all the failed new stadium attempts, when the new stands are fully operational, this is the best ground we’ve had in all that time. Hopefully the new owners along with Wael can improve it further with future development phases, look forward to seeing what the architects come up with. |

I know its normally the nature of us fans to be a bit cynical but I have to say a big well done to the club in building this and getting this through. A great addition to our infrastructure. Thanks Wael.

Been watching Rovers since 1990 and this will be the first time I've seen us play at home with a seated stand that runs fully from one corner to another. If you'd told me in 93 that rather than a 40 000 stadium at Hallen in 3 years it'll be a single 3000 seat semi-permanent stand in 30 I'd have been a bit dissapointed but right now I'll take it.
