Thanks for sharing. It would be nice if the club could share this with all supporters though so as to stop speculation and rumour. (Not everyone will be on this thread or on this forum) I agree to some extent , but the club are not 100% sure the stand will have all the certification by Tuesday , or when it will be fully open, so if they announce something and there is then a hitch , well they will get criticised , so it is best to keep official announcements until they are 100% sure. Doesn’t look like it’s going to be open on Tuesday then .

Maybe it be phased bit by bit ?. www.ctfc.com/news/2023/november/tickets-and-travel-for-bristol-rovers/

Better than the tent rubbish before, but the pillars look ugly.

Better than the tent rubbish before, but the pillars look ugly. When the stand is full and rocking you won't notice any pillars

Everton are moving to a brand new stadium in 9 months. Palace according to The Athletic are close to developing the Main Stand kicking off a £150m development. Fulham's Johnny Haynes Stand is the oldest stand currently in use in professional football having been opened in 1905. It is a Grade II* listed building. Luton Town are moving to a brand new stadium in around 24 months. Sheffield United have extended planning permission to extend both the South Stand and the Kop, both are currently paused while a sale of the club is sought. To add some context.

Actually...Everton, Crystal Palace, Luton, Sheffield United and Fulham all have plans for modern new stadiums and/or stands without pillars. Tbf, we of all clubs know that plans mean nothing until it starts getting built

You can sit lower tier at Wembley and get very wet or you could pay £70 to sit in the rain at Bath rugby in a stand with no roof. Don’t know how lucky we are.

I am happy to wait until we get in the premiership to have our pillars removed. Truth is ignoring the financial cost we all know the constraints of the site. I actually think they design makes best use of a limited footprint.

I mean the original poster did use Premier League clubs as an example. It was replied to completely fairly.

What I would like the ground to look like is demolish the west stand and the north terrace build a continuous stand from the new south stand right around to the east stand and build a massive east stand in sure we could get the ground up to 20k I'm sure you will be told, you need a reality check. I used to think like you. Don't expect anything modern or that will cost too much. We don't have the money. I think this is the best attitude towards it and it’s where I sit. We don’t have the cash spare to do a proper demolish and rebuild job so it’s time to make the most of what we’ve got. I’d rather we actually did that than all of us stare at some photos for years that won’t ever happen
