Watching barnet v Wrexham yesterday they have stand behind the goal whitch holds Lee than 2 k might be a bit tight getting a stand in the space at the tent end for 4 k tho It's basically twice the size of the current south stand / south west stand. At the moment both stands hold about 1500. Then an additional two sections to the away end ( like Bristol rugby ) used too : would take it to 2000. Don't forget the stand is L shaped and includes the areas right up to away terrace and wrapping around to west stand . |

How do you know all these details when all we've got is very basic information from the club? We've been previously told that the south stand couldn't be extended to meet the away terrace, as there was either an issue with underground utilities or turnstiles for the previous entrance at that part of the ground, neither probably a major issue but still work will need to take place before work on building the stand can take place. I see the club are still selling season tickets for the South West Stand, which seems a bit odd if it's going to be dismantled and replaced during the summer. |

I'm probably being naïve but the pitch could be moved 5 yards north and still leave some room behind that goal, the pitch could be made a few yards shorter for that matter, those extra 5-10 yards would allow another half dozen rows say, that would allow for a good few extra seats, with the whole width plus wrap around up to the west stand might be equal to the 4k mooted. Minus the current tent seats but add extra terrace places, given that the capacity was 12,000 before covid, could see a capacity of 13 or 14k

We booked our regular seats in SW Stand for the Marcus Stewart game but have just been told not now available because of planned renovations and we are moved to S Stand. Presumably the SW Stand is coming down straight after the Bolton game.

We booked our regular seats in SW Stand for the Marcus Stewart game but have just been told not now available because of planned renovations and we are moved to S Stand. Presumably the SW Stand is coming down straight after the Bolton game. Yes it certainly is I’ve seen the long range weather forecast. Hurricane Wael is on its way from the east coast. |

Pure guesswork, not ITK, but putting 2 and 2 together (the above plus the fact they are selling season tickets in the southwest, but not the south stand/tent) and getting 7.... Phase 1, replace current SW stand immediately after end of the season. Maybe less likely to have planning restrictions and easier gound to build on with no major works required. Capicity to corner something like 1500 Phase 2, planning and groundworks may take longer, assuming no major issues they start this shortly after with completion by just after start of season. Option to only go around 2/3rds of south side if planning or works required make it unfeasible? Yeah it's Monday and I'm bored |

If all true its highly likely they are paying big fees for pre planning . Go on Bcc website and the fees are explained. Otherwise: they are taking risks.
