Looks decent 👏 It will never fly! Any idea why the South West Stand is so low in height compared to the South Stand, it seems we're missing out on being able to fit a couple of hundred extra home fans in the SW Stand?

Unfortunately no dots to count!! However a rough calculation is coming out at about 3,800 to 3,900. There appears to be about 25 rows across the main stand. Difficult to judge for the corner section. The current SW stand has 380 seats. Very approx. it is about 10 times that plus the corner. Will let you have more details once I start construction!

That's the only bit that looks sh*t to me. Would have liked it to wrap around the same height. Would also like to see how big a gap there is between the away terrace and the new stand.

I’m sure there’s a good reason for it, why not email TG to express your concerns. Rest assured he does not bite and will reply to your email.

Sight lines from East Stand and Boxes. Last home game went up to the top row in the SW stand and seats nearest the East Stand can not see the corner flag at the Thatchers End.

Not a fan of the number of supporting pillars but absolutely an upgrade on what we currently have.

I’m surprised they haven’t incorporated the SE away terrace in this development. It’s always been the worst part of the ground, chucking a roof over it and seats in it, joining it on to the east stand wouldn’t be the worst thing. Or people in construction would that be quite difficult to do?

Penalty box is lop sided and massive.

The aim is approx 12,500 while the current capacity is 9,832. Add in the seats we are replacing and we are getting close to that 4,000 number.

Good to see some positive developments, the plans look encouraging
At the very least it can’t take much to put a roof over the away terrace?
Will the new stand be given to away fans? Will it be split? A few teams in league 1 could bring 2,000 plus if ticket’s available
Either way, will be good to see something new, been a while!!

Penalty box is lop sided and massive. I thought it was the pitch width.

It looks as if the pitch will be moved closer to the blackthorn to fit this in.should make the atmosphere better

More seating capacity & a concourse with better facilities, that will do for a few years until we’re all sat in the Fruit Bowl.

Why is the first section of the South stand Seating smaller than the rest of the stand ? Only guessing, but it could be something to do with the scoreboard.

The key planning considerations are likely to be; design, environmental impacts, movement and transport and safety considerations.
Does the New South/South West stand structure sit comfortably into the form of the spectator facilities that enclose the sports pitch?
Is the overall design acceptable?
Does the new stand structure result in any new environmental implications that cannot be mitigated by the pre-existing controls?
Does the new stand structure affect movement and transport considerations?
Has the City Council's Building Control Team looked at the Building Regulation aspect of the new stand structure?
The sports ground needs a General Safety Certificate (GSC) which is issued by the authority following guidance from a Safety Advisory Group (SAG).
Has this process been followed in respect of this new stand structure ?
If so, there are no safety considerations as they are covered by other regulatory processes.
