Surely if the club is going to invest in a decent project like this (well done Wael). Then the ugly bit below scoreboard will at least have a smaller section going along to East terrace. Otherwise we still have the 'scruffy' 'scrapyard' bit with boards and junk. The new ground plan suggest there will be a huge gap. It be like renovating a house top to bottom but leaving the rubbish on the driveway !.

Just noticed if you go on the club’s ticketing site & click on buy season- tickets, the new stands seating plan has been added. Good opportunity for someone to count the dots and find out how much it actually holds. Where’s gasonthemount when you need him ?

What about a revamp to the Thatchers end aswell....plenty of land behind and have a 4000-5000 stand. Revamp the Mem slowly over the next 3-5 years' won't need the fruit Market then

I just don’t get with some people they complained about the tents which I totally agree with the club r doing a upgrade with this new stand and some fans are still complaining I do despair Some have negativity possessing their soul & absolutely nothing will allow them to utter even a positive word let alone allow any sense of joy or excitement to sneak through. You've looked at the other forum then!

Can I request a 'dodgy drainpipe.' Had the column at the mem get hit over - bit dangerous - and had the 'get soaked' spot at Twerton.
Would be a shame not to continue the trend

Great to see that redeveloping The Mem is now an option. Hopefully the planning application goes well.

Here’s an image of the Edinburgh rugby stand taken from the pitch, looks pretty decent to me. Attachment Deleted

I think there is a narrower space at that end, where the old Alton Road entrance was. Maybe we could call this new steeper structure Alton Towers?

I posted a Google Streetview link earlier, if you look at the ground from Alton Rd there are steps down to old turnstiles at that end of the ground.
I'm not sure why we can't just remove/cover the steps and raise the ground, although it probably gives the club an excuse not to move the big screen.
