Obvioulsy Plan A is 12K mem with 2K more seats then off to the Fruity But here is my Plan B to redevelop the mem without having to leave It took me 10 min, dont be too picky!  |

View AttachmentVery good and I'd love to see it, although I'm sure we won't. Keeping the west stand is a good idea. It would save a lot of money, wouldn't look too bad as an end, and has a terrace already. If the FM should fall though (perish the thought) it's a good alternative. |

Lansdown took out a £40M loan, the highest amount of any Championship club over the last decade to rebuild Ashton Gate. It's normal practice. Not heard that one but I recall this story. He drew down this funding for the failed Ashton Vale project and then boasted that with the delay he reinvested the money and by the time he rebuilt Ashton Gate the investment had almost doubled so the rebuild didn't cost him very much. In April 2009, Bristol City owner and chairman Steve Lansdown sold a stake of 4.7% in Hargreaves Lansdown for a sum of £47.2million, towards the cost of building the stadium, reducing his stake in the business to 22.9%. Lansdown commented that the residual costs of construction would be paid for by a combination of the sale of: Ashton Gate, debentures, and the naming rights for the new stadium. |

I hope with the new stand it's given entirely to home support. First reasonable stand we get and it would be a shame to let away fans sit in it.
