A long overdue return.
It is over 30 years since Derby County last played The Gas away from their home venue.
On November 14th 1992 a League One fixture saw a strong Rams side visit Twerton Park.
Tommy Johnson and Paul Kitson scored that day in a 2-1 victory for The Rams in front of 6,668 supporters.
The last four meetings between the two clubs have been on Derby's turf.
This includes the Nathan Ellington master class in January 2002.
Who remembers the Home fans chant: "You've only got one song. " They were proven wrong.
Bristol Rovers next encounter Derby County, at The Mem for the first time, on Saturday 15th April 2023
Tickets for Rams supporters went on sale at 10 am on Monday 3rd April 2023.
Two hours later.
There were 153 seated tickets and 45 standing tickets still available.
The Rams initial allocation is 1,299.
This is probably going to be the record home attendance at The Mem this season.
Will Derby County be returning to the Home of Bristol football next season?

The usual pattern of ticket sales.
Most seats are gone already.
North Terrace (Thatchers) and West Terrace (Old 'Uns Block) going rapidly.
Expect both sections to be sold out by the end of Thursday.

Surely will be another sell out. Cant wait for this one. We owe them a game after the away fixture. Hope it’s a great atmosphere.

No doubt they'll be impressed with the Mem and everything it has to offer.

Between October 25th 2022 and January 24th 2023 The Rams went 19 games without defeat.
In that spell they destroyed us 4-2.
Now they are on a run of only 2 victories in 8 fixtures.
A dish best served cold appeals.

Majority of tickets left either in Family terrace or East terrace. Small number of resales in the Thatchers. In total probably less than 150 left.

What this shows is we are missing out on extra away revenue. Hopefully if we expand the South Stand and the other stands, we can increase capacity to at least 15000? UTG

Imagine if we were at pushing play offs at the least currently, tickets would be like gold dust.

Not going to be a full house today, which is disappointing. Plenty of tickets left for East Terrace and 8 seats in South Stand. Some resales in the Thatchers and West Terrace. Forecast is sunny, so get down to the Mem this afternoon.
