Was looking forward all week to the game and thoroughly enjoyed it yesterday.
Some things stood out for me that will need addressing though in the summer …
Connolly - He is simply not good enough - yesterday he was woeful and his passing out from the back was as bad as anything I have seen recently… Belly was going mad with him to move the ball into midfield time after time. Looked really nervous … I thought he was at fault for the goal. Would rest him for Sheff Wed to see how Gibson and Quansah bond.
Finlay .. Has a poor game every time his family come to watch … no idea why but yesterday his passing was atrocious - he did keep going though to his credit.
Lamar Bogarde…. Get him back as a priority along with Lewis Gibson if you can - Get Grant Ward signed up asap as well.
Harry Anderson - Time to move on now - Good servant but he ain’t L1 standard - sat with his guests second half rather than on the bench.
Great penalty from Antony Evans - Spoke with him after the game and he was buzzing - thought he did well when he came on.
Also chatted with Josh Grant and SS7 and both are in seriously good spirits - great to see.
All in all it’s been a decent season and if we can get another six or so into the squad - move on those that aren’t at L1 level then next season could be a cracker.

That's a bit poor, maybe he's already checked out in his head.

Connolly does hesitate when trying to find a ball forward, but that's the midfields fault in not making themselves available. Simply not good enough? Don't agree. Move on Anderson? Don't agree with that either. Maybe we should stop Finlays Family turning up move him on as well?

Think your being a bit harsh on both Connolly and Anderson. Connolly had good games over Easter, I think yesterday the early mistake & goal seemed to knock his confidence a bit. He's a young player whose probably only played 50 league games at the most, all young players have dips in form look at the difference between Hoole now and mid season. Personally I think its far too early to write him off. As for Anderson first game back after a lay off he was always going to take some time to get up to speed. I'd certainly be keeping him as a squad player if possible

It's a big decision for JB on Wednesday as does he recall Quansah or persevere with his own player Connolly.

Had a sleepless night last night.
Can't help but be concerned for the health and welfare of Joe Wildsmith.
Hope you're feeling a wee smidgen better today, Joe.
He had such a rough and tough day yesterday.
Snipers in the stand with invisible weapons clearly targeted him both halfs.
Getting booked for repositioning the goal kick after a two minute break in play seems so harsh.
It was so cruel of the Thatchers End to call him names and send down the seagulls.
He was distressed by the length of the grass, the angle of the sun and the strength of the breeze.
Really hate it when visitors to the Home of Bristol football have a miserable time.
At least the referee allowed him 7 extra minutes in an attempt to help him enjoy his day.
Despite his mixed day he did vigorously clap the Home fans when leaving the pitch.

Glad you think we’ve had a decent season. Things turn around quickly - a couple of months ago you said you’d be amazed if we got 45 points! Onwards and upwards with JB at the wheel. UTG!!

I did see him clapping on a video clip. If that was a genuine acknowledgement of fans giving him stick - within reason - for his shithousery that almost, almost got them a point then fair enough

Eric… you’re spot on I was really concerned we were struggling … but now looking so much better.
Couple of wins and a fighting draw … much happier now.
