Just wanted to know if yeovil have continually been relegated since his famous dig at Bristol Rovers being Non League? This is a genuine question and not having a pop a the green and white army.

Since the night that sign was displayed:
2013/14 Championship (24th) RELEGATED 2014/15 League One (24th) RELEGATED 2015/16 League Two (19th) 2016/17 League Two (20th) 2017/18 League Two (19th) 2018/19 League Two (24th) RELEGATED 2019/20 Nat. league (4th) Lost to Barnet 2-0 in Play Off 1/4 Final 2020/21 Nat. League (16th) 2021/22 Nat. league (12th) 2022/23 Nat. league (22nd) RELEGATION (One loss away)
As grim as it could possibly get.

Since they became BBC Somerset’s top club they’ve enjoyed live broadcasts of their matches. If they fail to pull off a miraculous escape from the drop they will enter next season on an equal footing with Bath City. Will that mean an end to live coverage of a Somerset side on Saturday sport, an extension of live coverage for both teams or a split of coverage between them? I.E. alternating live coverage between Yeovil and Bath. Could be more changing on the Sports show front than just GT hanging up the mic.

It couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch and I can see Taunton giving them a good rogering next season too 👍

Haven’t seen one of those since an FA Cup qualifier in 1970 or 1971 at the old Huish. UTG!

Apparently the guy takes it all in good grace and is a decent sport about it. It wasn’t really that nasty, but it is quite nice to see karmic action.
He’s been punished enough IMO.

Should cover Bath City instead, they have done more for us than useless Yeovil have ever done. Let's be fair Bath is a far better place than Yeovil

That’s nearly Club disappearing as a serious football club. UTG!

Let's be fair Bath is a far better place than Yeovil I suspect BBC Somerset will still cover Yeovil because they have a bigger fanbase and more people in Somerset will likely support them rather than Bath. I knew lots of Yeovil fans in their League seasons from north Dorset and even this far south who went to see them, not so many now. And, tbh, it’s a more intriguing story, their demise and the start of their climb back perhaps. It’s a shame Bath didn’t get their griund plans approved, that may have been the point where they made a serious challenge to achieve NL status. Either way with 4 clubs in NLS, Bath, Taunton, Weston and Yeovil it will be a great season for non-league supporters in Somerset, with some cracking crowds. And they’ll all be looking to get one over on Yeovil. Phew! I won’t state the obvious but I’m glad we got that promotion straight away in ‘15. Blimey, it doesn’t bare thinking about what might have happened! UTG!

The guy with the sign still deserves a public flogging.
Not from us but from the poor Yeovile fans that has had to put up with the planet aligning karma being distributed.

Why the fascination with Yeovile, if relegated, imo should not receive any meaningful extended air time; although, I do like listening to the enthusiasm of Sheridan Robins.

Bath City may well have an equally intriguing story, they are a fan owned club, have put in planning permission for a Desso pitch to increase facilities available for the community, and create some additional income for the club. They have a multi award winning Film Director on the Board, and one of their sponsors is a top crime writer, who's books regularly appear in the Sunday Times top 10 list. The club are also working with Regen, to put in another planning application for the development of Twerton Park. Almost enough for an Amazon documentary series there!

Yes, I’m sure it’s interesting, but probably more for locals. Yeovil though are historic cup giant-killers who went from Southern League to Championship and back again. Irrespective of whether you like Yeovil or not it’s a big story from a sleepy town in Somerset. But NLS will be interesting next season. And good luck to Bath if they’ve made another application with their ground. UTG!

The team that came up from the conference played some blinding football, I can't remember anyone else knocking it about like they did. The 4-0 at Huish was a sobering listen on the radio.
