8am and no match thread? Allow me lads & ladies!
So it’s another HUGE club at home in the space of 4 days, make no mistake this is absolutely an enormous fixture in Sheffield Wednesdays season. Not to mention Plymouth, Ipswich & Barnsley!
The Owls slipped up Saturday and fell out of the autos, the tractor boys nicked into second and have a home banker against Vale tonight. Simply, much like Derby Wednesday HAVE to win tonight.
Whereas it’s another night of zero pressure and great vibes for us Gas.
Same again please JB, Coburn up top on his own, flood the midfield, stifle & suffocate Bannan, give Gregory & Windass no space to operate. Then unleash the trusty trio up top late on, with Evans not far behind.
Very much looking forward to this one! I’m going for fill optimism, 2-1 Home win!

Lovely going into a game without any pressure to win,personally I'd be happy with a point and a good performance,sure their supporters will be stunned by the fantastic stadium and facilities 😄

Cant get back for this one so iFollow for me. Will be nice to watch with little riding on it. But I really want us to do them over!
Coburn for Anderson but otherwise same starting 11 as Saturday.
Could be feisty one. Odds on a Finley red?!

We gave them a good game up there last time 1-1 and would take that again. We crashed and burned at Derby a few days later after a string of good performances. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen tonight. As always - take a draw, hope for more and not the other UTG

Tough game tonight as this is a must win for them and I would expect them to come at us - which might just suit.
Midfield battle is crucial and I really hope we see Grant and Young Lamar truly show Bannan that his best days are long gone.
Would love to see Anthony Evans involved at some point and play well again - keep improving that confidence.
Home win just - hell of a scrap and someone sent off.

I hope we had someone watching them at FGR. Let Bannam do his thing and mark the wingers, resorted to direct balls into the box. Play around - not over - their centre backs.
Could be a bad night for the Owls. Imagine us winning whilst Sheff Utd get closer to promotion if they win tonight, wonder who they are playing 🤔

As always - take a draw, hope for more and not the other UTG Difference this time is we don’t have loads of injuries, especially to the back 4. Plenty of energy on the bench. Expect changes at 60 and 75 to freshen things up. Loads of options. |

Payback would be lovely, I still recall the hoards of Wednesday mini buses queueing to get out the car park back in 2011. Relentless jeering and taunting after the 1-1 draw had all but relegated us back to the basement.

They're there for the taking tonight I reckon, as long as we turn up. On another issue, what has happened to Collins and Finley? Since taking the captain's armband, neither has looked like the players we know they are. |

Just been looking on their forum out of interest. Christ, they’re a more negative, pessimistic bunch than us! Seem to think they’ve blown it and in a downward spiral (and will blow the playoffs too). Feeling more confident about tonight now!
Don’t have anything against Wednesday (a proper club and big fan base) but hope we get one over on them tonight as I’ve got friends who are Wednesday fans and I fancy a trip to Hillsborough next season (this time on a Saturday afternoon please!).
