Hope it’s not 3 at the back , Ollie’s side apart which ultimately didn’t win anything I’ve never known it work for us.

It’s 3 at the back. Personally if we don’t have a chance of signing Quansah or Bogarde I think we should send them back, along with Belcombe too and play our own players. We’re just developing someone else’s players for their benefit.

Lofty is vastly undervalued on here, like Marquis great work ethic 100 % er. Marquis has ability which puts him way ahead of Loft imo. Work ethic should be a given for a professional footballer, for me that’s pretty much all he offers, that and nuisance value as a big, bustling impact sub. A back up option in league one, a starter in league two. Nothing against him personally and I like his attitude, just don’t think he’s a very good or very effective striker at the level we are hoping to be. If he was available for transfer would anyone expect a top half league one team to sign him as a starter? If we played with wide players then Loft would have a better chance of being successful. Apart from free kicks and corners(where defenders are favourite) we don't put crosses in from wide. He and Coburn just get neat through balls or back to goal service which isn't really preferred when you are 6ft 2 plus. |
