I'm not too gutted. Spirited second half performance and that's all we can ask for when there is nothing left to play for. Good to see Collins get on the scoresheet. 4 away games now but I think we can end the season strongly. |

Cant complain about the effort … our final ball at times is poor though and when you gift a top side two goals it’s always going to be a tough one to get anything back.
Will need to be on our mettle come Saturday as Vale will be pumped up with Askey.

Connelly must be gutted , Quansah plays terribly yet stays on. Hoole plays best at full back as does Gordon.
Liverpool must have some financial finger over us for Rovers to sacrifice 3 players to allow Quansah to play.
Im sure the lad will evenyually do well but he isnt league one standard yet. A real liability quite often.
Other than that a good performance.
Ps Joe ,having more attackers on the field doest mean more goals. Creativity opens teams up.

Collins goes central opening minute of 2nd half and surprise surprise we score, but then another 70% possession with nothing to show for it - frustrating. Dreadful defensive error for their opening goal and defence too slow for their 2nd. Never mind, entertaining in many ways but more frustrating in others. UTG

Clear nobody knows what this is about Lol. Imagine we’ll be reverted to our better formation at HT Good call, Percy! Very good performance from us tonight, I thought. We competed well and just lacked a tiny bit of quality with the final balls and paid for some poor defensive positioning. Plenty to work on but encouraging that we continue to hold our own against the bigger teams in the division. |

Entertaining defeat.
Enjoyed the game and the positive reaction to going two nil down, alongside the many changes trying to take the game to one of the divisions top teams kept it exciting and filled myself and those around me with an optimism and hope right til the end.
Plenty to look forward to. UTG!

Played well on the whole again tonight. Frustrating that it always feels like we have to work a lot harder for our goals than other teams. Good to see Collins back in the goals ⚽

Weird night, plenty of the ball again, plenty to like about our nights work, dominated in large spells, but didn’t really feel like the equaliser was ever going to come.
