What's wrong with that, what would you sooner hear him say? I hope he does go berserk Topper this is pathetic… We've been pathetic away against every bottom 6 side this season, if JB's serious about a play off push next season then he's going to have to completely rebuild the squad again this summer. |

Worse performance of the season, think they're already on holiday, if that is the case I'm not going to bother with the Bolton game, ticket will go on ticket exchange, can't watch this again

But it's not a one off we were just as poor at Accrington and Morecambe. Plus Connolly, Finley and Gibbons have been individually poor for months and Evans and McCormick just as bad if not worse. |

Not sure why some on here are so upset. We're safe; it's time to experiment and see who's up for it next season and who needs to be shipped out. So hopefully JB has learnt something about that.
It's a rare opportunity for any of our managers to do this since we always seem to be on the verge of promotion or relegation and can't normally risk this sort of thing.
I do admit that it's not satisfactory for those who travelled all that way, but it's a dead time of the season for us when results don't matter.

I get what you are saying but its expected to get these comments after a performance like that, whatever the circumstances. Effort is the least we should expect from a Rovers/Barton side |

Lots of the ball but never created a thing all game. I don't think there was any lack of effort but a definite lack of quality today. Definitely an end of season performance Barton will learn a lot for next season from the last few games.
We'll have to be a hell of a lot better on Tues for sure

Given JB's seen all the players, apart from Ward, all season I don't get the notion he learn a lot from a handful of end of season games, personally I wouldn't offer contracts to any of the players out of contract this summer in order to fee up room for newcomers.

Underwhelming at best. While I accept some saying that the effort levels will drop given the circumstances it is an insult to the fans who traveled at some expense that the team made such a half hearted effort. I certainly won’t be parting with any money to travel to any of the remaining away games to watch the players amble about for 90 mins.
