I imagine this person has misunderstood slightly and assumed the new potential ‘stadium’ is more akin to an arena/indoor venue, like London’s 02 or the print works in Manchester etc.. Or there’s substance to it and they’ll just build one right outside like MK Fc have? Just can’t imagine for life of me there will be a restaurant chain located INSIDE a football ground. Thinking about the fan zone though you’d probably describe that as being inside a football stadium as it’s in the grounds, even if it’s outside a ticketed area. Guess this could be similar - a load of units in the outer side of the stadium |

But...if we're talking about food options; any danger we could get some choices on sale at the Mem that don't clog arteries?

If you have been to Ashton Gate (to watch rugby once, honest guv) there is a concourse of food outlets within the perimeter of the Stadium that goes all the way round

Dunno about that , how does this make the stadium a goer ? You don’t discuss the finer details about who fills what unit when you haven’t decided properly if there’s going to be a stadium there. Yeah well obviously they’re discussing what will be in the stadium , what it will look like I mean architects will be drawing and quantity surveyors and structural surveyors will be calculating as we speak as we’ve got a year to get a planning application in, but none of that means it will be happening , least of all Nando’s being interested in having a stall there if it does get built. A long way to go yet. |

Phwoar.. couldn't scroll past a thread with "Nandos" in the title. Love a whole spitroast chicken marinated in extra hot peri peri sauce (with a wing roulette on the side) I'm a growing boy!!  A Nandos in the fruit market complex would be ace (alongside our shiny new stadium, obv) I have seen all the Rovers players in the Filton Abbey Wood Nandos before (I think before an away trip). I won't embarrass anyone by publicising which of the number opted for "lemon & herb" sauce  |

Some sort of BOXPARK setup as at Wembley would be an integral part of the setup if it's to be a 365 days of the year venue.
Beer, food and music in a massive Fanzone on matchday too.
More Miss Millies than Nando's for me, or our own "Bando's" after the great Bruce Bannister?

Had a Nandos once in Wembley town, before a game. Entirely forgettable experience. Popular with teenagers who seem to think that it's chic to eat there. UTG.
