12 new players..he aint kidding is he. Not sure I trust him to find him. Wrong team, wrong formation, wrong tactics. Hopefully we go out with a win Saturday or it’s been a pretty shocking end to the season. More goals conceded than the relegation season. |

We never look good with 3 immobile and fairly similar strikers on the pitch!!
We must have the divisions worst record for conceding early
Plenty of work to do in the summer, especially in becoming harder to break down. Very fragile defence and beefy seems totally out of sorts, can’t even get game time

Shrewsbury acting like they have won promotion - they were dreadful.
Really think we need minimum 15 / 16 signings… and some brave decisions on moving on some of this squad.

So Gibbons, Finley and quansah poor in the air ain't good enough, coburn misses too many chances.
Evans miles off last seasons form.
Collins very impressive when he came on, Gibson and Gordon decent,ward very good, Balcombe looked ok good at kicking.
If I had travelled tonight I would have felt cheated, with that line up.

Really can’t believe we are playing players who will have no chance of playing next season, this was the time to play any youngster who got half a chance , Jones ect getting beat by that shower is embarrassing , rather we lost to a team with half an eye on next season, gonna need not 12 but 6 or 7 who are first on the team sheet, not guys who want to be

Better side first half without creating anything, as soon as we made the changes we upped the tempo and suddenly looked like a team capable of scoring goals.
We really do look a threat when we play at a quicker pace and have players like Collins, Sinclair & Evans moving the ball quickly. We simply aren't able to play that way with the way we set up from the start.
Really hope we can keep Gibson snd also Ward who I thought was outstanding tonight, those two would give us a huge boost going into the summer transfer window

Look at Plant of Port Vale, was on loan to Salisbury this season but has put in MOTM performances v Ipswich and Charlton in his few games back |

The squad that travelled to Shrewsbury this evening had more than enough to beat Shrewsbury with the right tactics and game plan. Unfortunately Barton has been flogging a dead donkey for months and we play with so little pace , width or tempo that we start with a handicap pretty much every game. The subs changed it because the players were midfielders and we had width , if Barton takes this horrible formation in to next season then we’ll go down simple as that. |
