Sonny Bradley leaving Luton. 31-year-old 6ft 5in centre half. Captain. Leader. Watched him with a mad Luton fan who sees him as the weakest link in the Luton team that whilst captain always has a mistake in him and quick to blame everyone else Reminds me of when we got Baldwin from Sunderland It’s a big no thanks from me

And Baldwin couldn’t even get into that Salford side.
Really poor signing for us.

Lots of 'could do a job for us' comments. I give you exhibit a) McCormick. Exhibit b) Otzhumer.
Will give all players with known or little background a chance

Was he the next wonder kid who went to Man U as a teenager? I’d forgotten all about him

Scored a couple and generally caused loads of problems.

Anyone take Johnny Williams on a free? Rumoured to be finally joining Hibs after they couldn't agree a transfer fee with Swindon in January. Assuming Ward stays then I can't see where he'd fit into our starting 11 anyway.

The poison and vitriol aimed at Buckle during and after that Crewe game was intense!

Scored a couple and generally caused loads of problems. He pretty much did the same away later on that season in a Crewe side that also featured Billy Bodin, Steve Phillips and Byron Moore. We conceded very early in both games, some things never change eh!!

Will no doubt get shot down for this but Flint could be a great signing for us, but we can't afford him. A tall leader of the back four who wins headers. His departure paves the way for Taylor, so that look a no go. Always rated Clucas and Powell as well but age and wages will probably be against them signing for us.

Agree re Flint - thought he was immense in the recent game at the Mem for Wednesday. Exactly what we need in defence imo despite the obvious issues!

Quite like Josh Key and Archie Collins who have been offered contracts at Exeter. Could released Jamal Blackman be a GK option for us? "Josh and Archie are two Academy graduates and fantastic players that have given so much to the football club over a number of years. The offers that have been made to them are in hope they will stay as they will have offers from our league and leagues above and if they do go, we wish them well for the rest of their careers." On a L1 forum some Exeter fans think that Archie Collins is on our radar but will be looking higher and Jamal Blackman is off to the States Although Collins is out of contract anyone signing him would have to pay compensation
