I guess the information coming out of the inquiry is at least proof (not that we needed it) that the phrase used by many on here of "its not their fault", is simply not true.

Must be some very embarrassed posters on here after all the drivel that was posted at the time 🙄😂 Mind you , there’s still one or two still doing it .

They all lied and made a mess of everything. The problem is that the enquiry is flawed and trying to investigate a carefully deployed scam anyway. No good will come from it. The manufacturers have banked our money now and will make plenty more from aftersales. They are the criminals, not the politicians. Only have to look at pfizers acquisitions to see the game played out. People at work have been testing positive for covid the last few weeks. Great work! I've taken the misinformation out of your original post. I may have taken the pinned Covid thread down, but it all still stands. If you want to debate topics, be my guest. But no misinformation. Ta. How tf do you know what's misinformation? Lol. My views are just views, not medical advice or fact based. Acquisitions are public knowledge ffs. Yiu dont need the brains of Yatton to put the peices together.

Is my point unfair or wrong though? The misinformation warning is down. No other forums have it or have had other for months. Yet our mod decides what's misinformation? That's not right surely. Argue the points, don't hide them! You asked me if I was on crack and gassy liked it. Lol wtf. That's ridiculous.

I look forward to reading your pier reviewed scientific sources. I’m sorry I found a post funny and liked it. Quite ironic you talk about not being rattled on footy forums (just regular forums then?) seems like me liking a post has really offended you?

So you've decided to moderate content based on peer reviewed scientific papers now? Debate this. Pfizer have made numerous acquisitions over the past 20 years, which will benefit from the associated side effects(that pfizer have listed) from the jabs. That's not a secret or a conspiracy or misinformation. It's real and public knowledge. No irony, just calling it out btw. You think it's OK for someone to joke about crack cocaine. Honestly gassy, I'm not really offended, I don't care what is typed about me on a chat board at all. If you are modding though, is other OK to accuse someone of being a crackhead on here? You allow that?

For example if you said, "Don't take paracetamol, it gives you cancer" - I'd 100% delete that post and drop you a message. If you really want me to debate the Pfizer part then sure, give me evidence of the companies they acquired (not via social media, but from Pfizer/the acquired firm's website), the dates and your reasoning to why they acquired them and sure we can debate it. Otherwise, you're just posting he said/she said. I have no issues someone making a joke about another by saying, "are you on crack?" Yes. If Yatton had said, "you're a crackhead", I would feel very different. If you can't see the difference between those, then I'm afraid that really is your problem. If you feel offended by the post or genuinely upset, then of course feel free to report it.

Are you taking personal responsibility for that or are you still referring to the proboards notice that is now removed? If that's 2 no's, what's your problem?? Paracetamol? Whatever Crack jokes? I'm not offended at all. Just checking your boundaries of acceptance. I understand now that it falls within the levels of acceptability as long as you agree with it. Fine.

I'm such a crack smoking driveling conspiracy theorist, that I obviously believe that companies tailor their media releases. It's not that I'm involved in marketing for a blue chip, just that I'm obviously a cynic who chats nonsense on chat boards to wind people up.
That aside, have a look at this fairly recent acquisition by our friends at pfizer. Remember, this is a profit making organisation with shareholders who demand ROI-hopefully this isn't misinformation or he said/she said, so far..
I am also aware that I'm wasting part of my morning by playing along. I/We have our beliefs based on the info given, whats out there and what's emerging. I can also see that lots of people are now aware that it was all a bit weird and many have vowed not to bother with jabs and some state that they wished they didn't, due to issues since. Disclaimer:I'm not a medical professional and only give advice to those who'll listen, my advice is based on family guidance, chatting to Indians at the market(those guys understand stuff about herbs and spices affecting bodily functions), info on Google, and a bit of common dog.
Pfizer: Arena Pharmaceutical-2022. Arena Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage company developing innovative potential therapies for the treatment of several immuno-inflammatory diseases.
Probably a complete coincidence of course, but one of the major talking points around side effects of mrna vax is myocarditis. Fortunately, our friends have that covered now🙌
This is only one observation so take it as you will. The Pfizer website carefully (and no doubt vaguely) lists out acquisitions and mergers publicly.

Shouldn't bother reading too much into the Seagen deal either. Probably just a normal company going about its business.
Meanwhile resurgence of cancer(I've got family suffering with this), turbo cancer, altered immuno responses, are probably just natural human evolution. I'm not suggesting anything just observing.

So Pfizer spent $6.7bn (USD) on a company to treat the 1 in 100,000 people who suffer from this rare side effect of the mRNA vaccines...? Not sure the maths stacks up on that one...

If you make a statement on health care, which you did, you need to back it up. If you're going to post an opinion on healthcare that can have an effect on others, be my guest, but then be prepared to back up when questioned. Clearly you can't do that, otherwise you'd have posted them by now. Can you?

I'm willing to listen, if you can make scientifically backed up arguments. If you can't and its opinions from what your mates are saying down the pub - then I'm not interested. Reading this post, what is the conclusion you've drawn? A multi billion dollar business brought out a vaccine that has side effects (name one drug that has zero side effects) and then acquired a company that develops medicines to treat those side effects. Whats the problem there? Firstly its good business sense as now they're seeing the profit from both ends. Secondly, it allows them to ingest the scientific R&D of said side effects. That way they can better understand how the body works and can develop technology for future. Let's not forget that Pfizer probably acquire hundreds of companies per year. Any company they acquire is going to be captured in the media, via pfizer's website and definitely the acquired company's website.

Any company they acquire is going to be captured in the media, via pfizer's website and definitely the acquired company's website. All of that Gassy. To the point on side effects. As you say, there always are. Some positive some negative. Take Statins as an example. They have been long held beliefs in the medical profession of their efficacy keeping arteriosclerosis at bay. Now evidence is emerging of a positive impact on cancer. Just an example. What I think is most dangerous is spreading selected snippets laced with personal opinion as fact. It's not. If anyone wants to make these statements then challenge should be "prove it". If you cannot shut up or be prepared to be ridiculed. When it comes to COVID vaccines I think I already said. We didn't know, not absolutely. Nobody did. We didn't know if we would catch it and die, we didn't know if we would catch it, recover but infect others who might die. So what to do? Option one is to hunker down, hope you don't get it, believe that if you do you will recover and during your period of infection you will not pass it on and potentially kill another person. Option two is to accept the vaccine, with all the unknowns (as much as they were/are) knowing, that within a narrow band of risk, it may not be perfect. But believe we might just be protecting ourselves and as importantly others. I did the latter and am glad I did. All my family did. There is, at this point, no real evidence of any significant side effects amongst us, and more generally none in the wider population of any statistical significance by volume. On the detail of what happened, could we have done better? Of course. Looking backwards that's always easy to say. But what I would say on that is that watching the current hearings on the handling of the COVID pandemic, we elected an absolute buffoon as PM who surrounded himself with buffoons. That didn't help. People like that are enabled to no small degree by equally, poorly considered opinions spread in social media, amplified by political opportunists. That is the current issue, I believe, that faces us. Absolutists demanding absolute solutions when no such thing exists.
