Part of me buzzing, part of me worried. He looked good during his first spell, but apparently he's been awful during pre season. Lots of loans, are not the same, when they sign on a permanent. But on the other side, he had his best spell, under our coaching staff. Can they bring the best out of him again and develop him further. Him and Connolly worked well together before. |

Maybe he was told/knew he was going to be low in the pecking order at Stoke and told he's free to leave if the right fee came in |

Think Connor is the real deal tho. He'l be buzzing to be back Maybe this is a bit harsh on Beefy, but during that League Two season I always thought Taylor was the far better player.
A pre season is just a pre season, Stoke fans have been saying for a while now that Taylor is clear Championship potential.

That's all true, but surely less risk going for a player that the management team know really well than someone they've only seen play for other clubs. There are no guarantees but Taylor performed excellently for us in L2, no reason he can't do the same in L1. |
