Good signing . Connor was too good for league 2 but the jump up to the championship was probably a bit much for him. Think he’ll do well in this league which was his logical progression.

Bit late to switch to three at the back. So who will get the two slots in the middle of the back four? Good question as I doubt Wilson can play at LCB? Although he might start with CT on the bench on Saturday? It's a good issue to have though, does JB start with a championship winning CB or a former Championship CB who was outstanding in our promotion season!!! |

Stoke fans I spoke to say he wasn’t quite good enough Didn’t give him much of a chance did they. He hardly played. 11 games wasn’t it at start of the season ? Anyway , I’m very happy he’s coming to us now 😃👍 |

Taylor and Wilson will be first choices but only at centre of a 3 or right of 2. Leaves us with a problem! It's hard to say with Connolly but I think his left is his preferred foot. I know the preference in a 2 would be to play a right and left footed player but I would prefer to play the best 2 CB and IMO that would be Wilson and Taylor. In a 3 I would play Wilson Taylor Connolly with Crama and Friend slotting in when needed! |
