Noticed that Joey said on having a gas that he's hoping a few of the things in the market flush out for us before Saturday so sounds like we still may see an incoming or two tomorrow. I thought that too but could have just been about Connor Taylor signing as the interview was recorded before CT was announced. JB discussed his potential signing in the interview so it must be a further signing(s). Surprised Teo didn't get a mention |

Didn't realise Oldham had done that to their pitch. Have they come into a load of money then to sign him? He'd get into most league one teams I can't understand him dropping down to national and in particular Oldham. Barnsley fans have honestly gone berserk online.🤣 Pitch is 97% grass 3% synthetic, like quite a few pitches these days. Surprised it's cost £1m and can apparently be used 100 days a year, but it does only seem to be 3% synthetic. |

When Joey said about the X-Factor signing I took that as just a plan B or something different as opposed to a household big signing but maybe I am wrong, what do people think of that comment ?

Remember some people on here saying they would prefer Flint to Taylor last season. Really happy how that turned out Surprised Flint's dropped right down to Mansfield in L2, I'm not sure what that means for Kilgour as aren't they both CH's? Imagine being AK, one minute looking forward to the first game of the new season, the next learning you'll probably spend most of the season on the bench again!! Yes they both play at CB, AK can loosely play at RB |

If new investors are going to back us, I think we will need to ship out 3 as a minimum first team players before buying..... Who would even be the candidates for that? Belly, Loft, Macca ?

Was thinking exactly the same, I also think that Scotty Sincs has to start, so Brown, Thomas, Collins would be my front 3. I actually cant see any starting 11 with Macca, maybe he needs 6 months on loan. |

Go and buy two of Mo Eisa, Callum Hendry or Noah Chilvers - top League Two performers ready made for the step up. Combined fee for two would be £300,000 to £400,000 - so not technically beating transfer record but better investment.

They’ve got plenty of cash and they absolutely need him leading their line. I can’t see him leaving them for less than 400k. |

I'm surprised we haven't tapped Northampton for Sam Hoskins they are already salty with the gas for piping them to promotion this would just add extra salt into those those wounds

Transfer, Don't see Teo Trialist mentioned at all has he had his clearance, like him,said he was going to sign ,but has all gone quiet since, anyone know what's happening.

Interesting that most of the names mentioned as a marquee signing are attackers when we're already struggling to play all the options we have.
Personally I'd rather bolster the 6 role or the defence.

Squad entitlement is 22 this season,21 years upwards and doesn't include goalies, maximum 5 loanees. As of today we are at 21,22 if Trevor Clarke is still registered???. So we will have to offload before signing a player over 21. Josh Coburn and Lamare Bogarde are both under 21 so will not be counted in allowed Squad figureand this week Carrick has said although Josh wants to fight for a place in Boros 1st team he may be better served out on loan. He is currently injured and hasn't played a pre season game,identical situation to last year,so we could be in prime position for him. If Chuba Akpong stays even better chance.These two would fit in swiftly and perfectly and would fill the midfield and striker gap we currently have and save transfer fees which can be used in January window if we are sniffing around top half. What do people think and is there other 20 year old who may fit the bill?

If we really want to have a good go at it, there are times we will need to dig in and grind out results. Personally think we need a combative midfielder, someone who's strong and has some pace about him. The best teams are also good at scoring and defending set pieces, if loft goes out, we need to replace him with someone of similar build and attributes. Need to carry a real threat from corners, hopefully Connor can help us.
