My No.1 Target for a Midfielder would be Stockport County man Will Collar. 25 year olds, with a market value of £300,000 - £350,000, currently two years left of his contract. 40 apps, 10 goals, 6 assists last season - could be a brilliant signing.

Grant will play about 8 games all season. Just to confirm I am not Garner or Widdrington  . Flash will need competition & cover. |

Settle for the defensive midfielder, the other two positions could be loans towards the end of the window, although I'd keep Jones myself, leaving just a young striker on loan. |

The Pompey game I think showed just how important it will be to get a left footed CB in if possible. Unless Crama is?
Both Connolly and then Taylor, whilst not doing anything wrong, didn't look entirely comfortable opening their body onto their left side. Feels like it slows us down a bit if they aren't confident to keep it moving quickly out that way if required. Although, we then may have a surplus of players in that position if continuing with 2 CB instead of 3 🤔
