All gone pretty quiet hasn't it - I can't think of an active rumour ongoing linked to us?? Any predictions for what we see in remainder of window? I think 2 more in, one an extra loan in too. 3 out permanent & 3 out on loan.....

Would assume we are:
Actively looking for a combative passing midfielder.
Opportunistically looking for a youngester on loan- likely a striker.
At the same time doing some ground incase we receive bids for collins bids...

I think the difference between top half league one and top half championship is massive in midfield. A signing I'm happy for the them to make, but would also love us to. |

Remember some prem loans tend not to happen until after R2 of the carabao cup so they can have one last look. Expect 2 more loans before end of the window
A DCM in the Rossiter mould is needed ASAP!

A marquee permanent signing and the return of Bogarde on loan would be my bet to finish off our business this window.

Played in the 5-1 defeat by City the other night. Been part of an underperforming Oxford side for a few seasons. Reading the Oxford forum they're not too upset about losing him as he's been poor for a while. All this to replace City's star player. |

Been poor in recent times, but if they want to replace Scott with Brannagan then be my guest! |

I hope Lamarr is still a possibility - would be a chance to build on last seasons efforts.
Hopefully a striker - at least to a better standard and replacing Loft ... ( thankfully Collins has been a little slow out of the blocks so interest cooling possibly)
Still also hoping for that wild card .... Garang Kuol !

Will have to look elsewhere for that wildcard - Newcastle gave just said that Kuol is going out on loan to Dutch side FC Volendam. |

Been mentioned in the 'wishlist' thread but apparently Joe Powell (#7 at Burton Albion) is our priority for Central Midfield. Seems unrealistic to me, market value of £500k, we'd surely be smashing our transfer record? Although his contract is up summer 2024 so maybe £300k would be reasonable....

Think you could take that either way but based the injury updates what existing players are there that are likely to return to the squad, certainly not Gibbons or Rossiter |
