Thatpicture i posted was West Seats on the site That's a picture of the terracing, like the seats each terrace ticket as a blue blob, the West Stand seating is completely blanked out as there's no seats available to purchase as s/t's. (If you still think it's not the terracing then where is that shown?)

Oh dear… …call it out 👍🏾 This all sounds odd to me, the West Stand doesn't generally attract that kind of supporter and if it did then surely someone would have already spoken up if an elderly fan is being hit/mocked regularly. If it is genuine can it really be that hard for the club to ID the individual(s) given that they know every season ticket holders details who sit near the elderly fan?

That was my initial thought too, unless it's something which happens when he's coming in or out of the ground. Surely, if it was in his seat, then the friends nearby would have a word with the idiots?

Had an email from Dave Bright asking me why I chose not to renew next season…despite the fact that I renewed my ST months ago! I had the same email so I contacted the club for clarity, Pete Weymouth replied and said that ‘an error meant the email went out to those who have already renewed’ He then went on to confirm that my season ticket has been renewed as planned. By the looks of it we won’t be the only ones that have received this email , Clearly been some sort of clerical error so nothing to worry about. Like always , Pete has been more than helpful.

Pete is always helpful and I imagine this error is nothing to do with him, but this is quite a big mistake. Imagine if you sent a reminder payment to a client who had already paid. It definitely would not look good. Unfortunately not the first time this sort of thing has happened.

Anyone else going to the fixture release breakfast on Thursday - 1883 Member event … If not is there any sensible questions you want me to ask Tom G and to report back on? I think others have mentioned something about hoping the club doesn't keep going towards the prawn sandwich brigade rather than the ordinary fan, but this definitely looks how it is going. I know money talks, but things like the official awards evening is a world away from many fans can afford and the open day is just a blatant commercial exercise. Could you possibly ask if there there any plans for things such as quid a kid, a SC player of the year evening, more activities for kids as the open day etc. Although the Awards evening costs an awful lot to attend, I can't see how the club can actually earn that much money - no money over the bar, cost of the players and staff meals, hiring a celeb to MC, one off banners and menu cards that will never be used again, the snazzy highlights vid etc. A spit and sawdust end of season SC event at the Mem, with a few quid entry that all fans can attend, where they can chat and have photos with the players in an informal atmosphere with a raffle, together with food and bar sales may actually earn the club more money and would help to improve player/fan rapport. Personally I can see the harm in doing both.

Personally I can see the harm in doing both. I think they sell seats for that event and you have to speculate to accumulate to some degree. Whilst sometimes it might not generate more it for the one off event it does seem we’re bringing in much more across the board commercially so it seems the approach is working as a whole. I do very much agree though that the club is bringing more stuff behind locked doors for commercial relationships which does seem a bit off. I don’t recall us doing anything for Geoff Twentyman (other than some tweets) whilst ours neighbours gave him all sorts of awards across numerous arts of their franchise. Maybe I missed it but if I haven’t then we’ve been shown up considerably when Geoff first came to prominence in Bristol as a Rovers player. I’d like to know if we plan to do anything to honour him.

Whilst it’s slightly annoying and may cause worry to some , it’s not the end of the world , the company I work for has made this error on more than one occasion but it’s easily rectified with a quick email. It only takes a slight delay in an email server or programme not to fully update and this will happen , in fact it happens in a lot of businesses.

If it’s a Buffet, hit the bacon and sausages hard….. stack the hash browns to save space.
