We lost a lot of games but to be fair most of those games we had most of the ball, and lost because we can’t defend or attack!
Sure, if you can’t defend or attack then you’ve got a problem, but how many games did we ping it around for 70% of the game only for a random cross and header to undo us, coupled with strikers like Coburn needing to have an open goal from 1 yard to actually score (even then it wasn’t certain). I get it, he’s a good lad and so is Marquis and loft blah blah, but look at that lad for Plymouth and Harrison’s goal against us. That’s what strikers should do, not just work hard. They need to have the flair to unlock a defence.

I think we alot of us need to tone down and wait for the outcome of trial... hopefully we'll get the facts so people can make an informed opinion.

Well, I know 8 that no longer go, and that’s just me, so suspect there are many. Its a shame, although while you can respect their decision, its their call, however the MEM regularly sells out, and Joeys team plays a great style of football, looking forward to the Melksham match. Utg

Well my footy WhatsApp group that only ever discusses prem and European football is discussing rovers again for the first time since Barton’s court case. Is that good percy, seriously? So better to be famous for wrong reasons than be ignored? Oh dear. People I sit with at AFCB still ask who’s our manager. Which is surprising given where they come from, and probably where they will return at some time in the future! UTG! I was absolutely not saying it is good! Surprised with my previous comments on Barton you thought i might mean it that way. Left it unsaid.

Totally agree, we had this last year with the paramania over Joey, let the courts decide, let the facts come out and then BRFC can make an informed decision.

The style of football being played certainly contributes to an enjoyable matchday experience. Let's not go over all this again, but statements like that are just not true Tilly. Between January and the end of last season our form was diabolical, we hardly scored. When evaluating performance it's important to look at the facts. For me, I go to football to be entertained, and to enjoy what my eyes see in front of me. Look at the facts of the Bolton game and they will tell you that we lost, on the whole, I actually enjoyed the football that we played that day. If we surveyed fans, I wonder how many would chose the option of "I go the The Mem for the fanzone" ahead of "I go to The Mem because I enjoy the football which the team are currently playing". It isn't going to be fantastic all of the time - we're not Man City, but, for League One, I'm enjoying it.

When evaluating performance it's important to look at the facts. Far be it for me to put words in Tilly's mouth however, Tilly I think is saying that by and large we played attractive on the ground football. Unfortunately, this was undermined by mistakes at both ends of the pitch, when I went to the Shrewsbury game we completely outplayed them for long periods of the game but,we lost due to very poor finishing and two defensive mistakes that were avoidable. Give your head a wobble and read some facts. Apparently there is no correlation between the style of football we play, and the increase in attendances!

Dominated by the period between Jan 22 and the end of season and promotion. Largely brought about by the acquisition (unplanned) of E Anderson. Between August and October form was bang average then we hit a purple patch until December. Then the dire period from Jan to May. Anyway let's not drill down again on opinions on this, the results stats tell us all we need to know. So, you are allowed to make your point, and then tell the rest of us "let's not go over all this again". Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think that's how forums work.

Extrapolating your conviction on the quality of the football, would you say our attendances would grow if we were relegated? Our form from January was relegation form, was it not? Plus, you are twisting my words. Say what you like, what I was suggesting was that whatever we say, the results speak for themselves.

This really annoys me, obviously HGT have no influence in who the club signs, they are doing a great job with the things which are within their remit - these idiots should leave them alone. Something tells me the person who wrote those tweets "may" just regret doing that.
