Sorry for lack of 2nd half updates, got chatting to an Argyle fan!
2nd half they had much more of the ball but other than a worldie of a save from Jed didnât trouble the goal much. We should have put the game to bed but a mix of good keeping, poor finishing and just taking too long to make the killer pass meant we didnât get another. Felt for the young lad that went of injured, was in tears. Fair play to belly who made a dart to go and have a word of comfort as he was stretchered down the tunnel. Nice afternoon, rain held off and the place was nice. If a lack of pubs near by!

Just confirms we need another CB - No way can Connolly be trusted or is good enough at L1 . Too early to be writing him off at 21 years of age. Iâm not writing his career off - Iâm saying at this point in his career L1 is too much for him. If we are genuine ( still not sure ) that we are âhaving a real goâ this season his âswitching off â during games along with his lack of awareness around him will come back to haunt us. Now he might improve with solid experienced pros around him - we shall see.

Still expect him to be 3rd choice behind Wilson (looked solid today with good angled long passes) and another yet to be signed tho.

Easy 10 Minute walk for me from my daughterâs house in Thames Ditton. The match clashed with her playing in the Ladies Singles Final at Thames Ditton Tennis Club. She knew which match I would watch! (Luckily she won 6-1 6-1 so still a happy household).
Thought that our first eleven played quite well without exerting themselves. Playing some nice triangles. Lack of clinical finishing and urgency in the penalty area stopped the score being greater. Azza probably the least effective of the attackers.
Rovers largely untroubled until we brought on the youngsters on the hour mark. However apart from one great safe from Ward we looked quite safe although there was some nervy play out from the back.
Best wishes to Charlie White. Looked a bad injury
Some good pubs in Thames Ditton only a short walk from the station.

Azza should have scored there. Good work from Brown to win ball back and slip AC through. Straight at keeper through on goal. Friend is gonna be the new Tillyâs Thighs I think for those that appreciate that sort of thing! George's Groin has a certain ring to it. (lock me up and throw away the key)

Not surprisingly no mention of the game on the other forum.
Still banging on about Barton instead.

Friend is gonna be the new Tillyâs Thighs I think for those that appreciate that sort of thing! Any of the Brentford players look like they'd be decent loans for us? Their player of the season Ryan Trevitt has recently joined Exeter on loan. 27 goal contributions last season (16 goals, 11 assists) from midfield and netted in the the Premier League Cup final in May to help the B team lift the trophy with a 2-1 win over Blackburn.
