For a bit of a reality check we need to remember I don’t think we’ve had a good start to a season for at least 15 years! We never win the first game (and now we play first game at a ground where always loose at!) and with our opening fixtures, there’s a very good chance we will be on zero points after the first three games!
So I think the message is not to panic if it doesn’t start off too well!

fully expect to win every game by at least 3 goals this season. Well except for the first game which we always lose. PL 46 W 45 D 0 L 1 GD+134 PT 135 you’ve forgotten the first 10 game start? P 46 W40. D0. L6. GD +56. PTS 120 PTS This takes into account the 6 defeats we always have in the first 10 games, including the obligatory loss on the opening day too, my final position and wins is much more realistic imo 😂UTG |

I have a gut feel we will do well, i cannot give any reason other than i believe the squad has had a good preseason and it was reported that all turned up in good shape. I cannot remember a time where we have had any other manager tell us this. Yes, the defence still looks keystone cops at times but we have had a fairly impressive preseason run of results. My gut tells me to expect something different to previous starts. See, i can do positive lol |
