Great news, no club would employ Steve Cotterill now

Happy with that.
Really hope they enforce these properly for the entire season and not just for the first 2 months as is usually the case. The continual fake injuries and standing in front of free kicks has been a source of irritation for waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

...sadly I suspect this will work out the same way as so many changes over recent years. In theory great, but in practice it'll be patchy at best and mostly ignored in high-pressure situations...
...the biggest change the EFL/FA could introduce to improve the game right now is a ten-year plan for recruiting better trained officials who can properly enforce the new rules they keep bringing in at all levels of the professional game....

I always used to like the rule that if a player received treatment for an incident where the opponent was punished with a card then they did not have to leave the pitch at all. Watching the Watford v Blackburn game it seems that the new rule interpretation is that a player is allowed treatment on the pitch if a card has been shown to an opponent but then they have to leave the pitch once treated for the mandatory thirty seconds…this still seems like penalising the team with the injured player for a punishable action by the opponent. In this case Watford were reduced to 10 men with Andrews on the sidelines for almost a minute till waved back on, whilst Blackburn remained at full strength after Hyam’s yellow card. Think this is unfair.
