Not sure what the club have done this time, havent our fans just jumped on the Bristol Post article that has just been put out. Nothing to see here really. If we have had an offer accepted, a medical is fairly standard. Club can announce it whenever . Any chance we could refrain from common sense talk, it's much more entertaining reading people go into meltdown and talking nonsense. |

Can I be a bit of a party pooper here, regarding CT. He did a job for us in getting over the line in LG2. Went back to the Championship, where he was mainly used as bench warmer. He hasn't been tested week in week out in LG1. Evans did well in LG2. In LG1, a bit meh.
Yes we all love him for his passion and what he achieved with us, but let's keep it in perspective....he's untested at this level.

He hasn't been tested week in week out in LG1. Evans did well in LG2. In LG1, a bit meh. Yes we all love him for his passion and what he achieved with us, but let's keep it in perspective....he's untested at this level. That's why we only paid £300k for him ..... allegedly.... |

He was excellent in league 2 and if you look at the start of last season before O'Neill left Stoke, the games he played in they got some good results. So I'd say league 1 is about his level at this moment in time.

So I'd say league 1 is about his level at this moment in time. My only worry is his lack of pace. I think he looks slower than he is due to his height. There were numerous times he kept up with speedy strikers with us but looks like he’s in slo-mo! |

I see where your coming from, remember Ryan Sweeney, great season with us, DC got him on loan again next season, didn't match up to our expectations, not sure where he is today |

We just have to patient with this one whilst the waiting for the announcement is frustrating it will happen
I also expect another big signing that everyone will go how the hell have we pulled that one off exciting times to be a gas head

Half the time it’s that speed that gets a lad out of trouble. It’s knowing where to be before it even happens, like a certain Tony Craig. He was the master of it. |

I have absolutely no concerns or reservations about this signing. His positioning, intelligence, power, height at the age of 19 made him one of if not the best Centre-Back in the division. He's had a year of training with Stoke's first team and 15 championship appearances. At 21 his ceiling is very high, and for £270-300k reported, he's an absolute no brainer. Boy is mustard.
