I don’t think Reading will permit a lion, a scarecrow and a tin man in due to the additional cost of policing. I wonder where he’s going to put ‘em up….put ‘em up ? |

We’ll get a large allocation, I reckon they’ll be plenty left for general sale. Reading away is def on my list , still gutted now that I missed that 6-0 win . Went to the old ground at least 5 times (Elm park ??) Went to that game but didn't get in till half time due to traffic on the motorway. Still got to see all the goals though! |

Went to that game but didn't get in till half time due to traffic on the motorway. Still got to see all the goals though! Went to 0-6 game. Met my son at the Railway Station in the pub attached. Little did we know the place was full of lunatics organising for a ruck. The police then encircled the place and wouldn't let anyone leave!!!. Used persuasion to let us through. The 2nd half display by Reading was the most incompetent I have seen I think. They were managed by the ex Celtic legend I think. His career appeared to unravel after that game. |

oldie, I'm not one for sticking up for Celtic, their players, managers or history, BUT...Tommy Burns was an absolute gentleman, a fine player and his career didn't implode after leaving Reading. He took some time off, worked at Parkhead again and was the assistant Manager for Scotland (and caretaker too) for several years. 🏴 The poor soul only stopped because his illness got overwhelming.

I don't know if I need better glasses but suddenly hundreds of tickets are back on sale 300 plus ?. Maybe the club is doing simple maths 10100 v Bolton - 1300 ( south south / west stand) = 8800 capacity ?.

Or they were holding an area in the east terrace for segregation or accessible? Guessing the crowd this weekend is impossible! |

They will have withheld enough tickets in the East and West terraces, plus family enclosure, to ensure if all of the South / SouthWest ST holders wanted to go there they could accommodate them. Then, once allocated, they released what’s left would be my guess. I’ve not actually had my call or email to confirm my spot, nor received my season tickets yet, nor had clarification on the partial refunds etc, so not been a great experience after paying out £1000 if I’m honest but hoping it’s resolved in next day or so.

Plenty in Blackthorn end now possibly 300 plus!. It makes you wonder if the club is fed up with ground restrictions on one hand and planning hold ups on the other . Is 11950 - 1300 around 10500 ?.
