The reason we applied rules on posting match day threads was because posters behaved like school children and squabbled over starting the threads. At one point they were being started weeks in advance.
Please don’t make us moderate this.

I think this might be a good time to play Portsmouth, they’ve had a much larger player turnover than us this summer, they’ve got injuries and we’re coming off the back of a better pre season.

Prediction: Rovers start really well and have pompey on the rack, hitting woodwork. On 22 minutes Collins is clean through have gets hacked from behind, no penalty.
Portsmouth get a lucky break and Connor Taylor takes the ball off their strikers toes folllowed by an dive which wouldn’t win a Welsh bafta, and ref immediately gives red card. Score the penalty and their strikers head straight for our fans trying to wind them up and no cards shown.
The rest of the game are a series of set pieces with Pompey time wasting and the ref mysteriously ignores the new rules. Ref smirks as he leaves the pitch bantering with the Pompey players.

Ok here we go. Almost impossible to call today, Pompey obviously gonna be most people’s favourites and we have two terrible streaks to contend with but think we’ll do ok.
Don’t let them score early and think we can come away with at least a draw but I’m going for a sneaky 2-1 win
Brown and Sinclair to score.
