So in reality obviously it’s nothing to do with the club but I really don’t see why it couldn’t have said Bristol Centre instead of Bristol City Centre.
Honestly, how many more f**k ups can the club make this?
It’s a silly little detail, but it’s daft.

The football club don’t own the city of Bristol so no problem as far as I’m concerned. Bristol city the place has been around for hundreds of years - I don’t see why we should avoid using the words just because a football team on the twelve toe side of Bristol was formed just 41 years ago 😀

The hotel is just using its location in its branding .
If you want someone to blame (?) Blame the rabble in red for being so dull in their name choice. Just having their location in the name .
No hotspurs,wanderers,united,orient,Athletic, Rangers,Argyle , Rovers,Academicals,Villa , Thistle, Albion ...no...just boring place names of Town and City which is just lame.

No issue with the sponsor with me. It's perfectly correct
We are already the only team playing in the centre of Bristol and this is is an acknowledgement of the moving into the actual centre with the new FM stadium on the horizon.
Marriott could be in the front of the queue to build a new hotel next to the stadium for the massive influx of spectators who will be attending the massive new Sports Stadium.
The Rovers Marriott has a certain charm to the naming rights. UTG UTM
