I mean we should be doing better with that selection against a side with 10 changes who were in our league last season. The effort seemed off from Saturday also I expect like a lot of us they probably knew they'd lost before they kicked off and they also knew they wouldn't get the hairdryer treatment tonight from JB. Plus we've got 24 hours less than Barnsley's players to recover and a far longer journey home. |

Well, at least Aaron Collins has put off any potential bidders after that performance 😂
Not sure if Cox and Connelly can play together as their passing is terrible especially Connellys.
Some good passage of play by us, but you could tell who were the championship side.
Thought Grant Ward was excellent!

Get eveyone off now and head home. Need to rest before Saturday! I said it yesterday Morning, Half of them shouldn't have travelled. Our top 6/7 players should have been back at the quarters doing a training session for Barnsley Saturday. Ipswich away is gruelling and we should have played a much younger (and hungrier to prove a point) side and surely the point of Squad, and keep the First team back and fit Ready for Saturday! Barnsley have the bit between their teeth after 7-0 win and played Tuesday. Our boys would have been lucky if they rocked up much before 4 a.m this morning and they are back training at 2pm today. I cant help thinking we will be sitting ducks on Saturday. |

Number one priority has to be a defender in that position that can tackle. Gordon has pretty skills but not a defender for a div 1 team |

We were in this game for a very long time against a really good team.
Played some decent football and carved out a few chances that on another day could have gone in. We were sat amongst the Ipswich supporters and the comments I heard were “They’re not afraid of us”
I guess they see a lot of teams who play scared.
Yes they looked a little sharper than us but we were competitive and I’m confident we will have a much better season than last.
