Having only recently taken on the player ratings thread on this forum I will post the ratings after ten games on here. I would suggest a much more accurate reflection than some remote sites ratings. I don't really see the issue with me posting this. It gives a stat based view on player performance too? In fact I would say its a very good representation anyway Hunt, Thomas have been excellent. Sincs, Hoole & Gordon poor as of late |

Re the worst three………..
Sinclair is a squad player now, I still think he adds some value to us.
Woods, in my opinion the best player in the squad, big statement but the bloke is on another level to most of them
Gordon, bang average but I would argue better than Grant at left and Vale, unfairly treated but now maybe a fresh start under the new manager.

Lewis Gordon is not good enough. Targeted in the air, poor crosses & one footed. Not for me. |

Whilst it is ok to say the best three, why do we have to say the worst three?
Hunt and Thomas are clearly the best, others so called listed as the worst have either had injury concerns or not been playing regularly to build up momentum.
For what it is worth I rate Gordon. If he was not told to pass inside, I feel he can easily get down the wing to provide goal scoring opportunities. He is very skilful and has a fantastic centre of balance and simply glides past people. Can see him having a long FL career. (Famous last words - cut to two years time when he is NL south at Torquay!)

Ratings are subjective anyway and depend on the factors being assessed. They don't necessarily correlate to the whole impact of a player. |
