Had a look at Hulls forum to see what they say about him, they're a bit disrespectful towards us saying he's better than us,

Will this signing now see finley or grant moving on [br Wouldn’t mind if either of them did , grant is massively injury prone and I’ve never rated him higher than a league 2 player anyway. Finley blows hot and cold can be brilliant on his day but I think we’ve seen his better days and moving forwards if we’re going for promotion which judging by the signings we are then he’s probably not good enough / legs gone to be a top league 1 / championship player.

Sounds like a great singing on paper but I'm itching for this number 9 and we need to ship out Belly, T Clarke, Loft still. Isn't Trevor Clarke injured and recovering from an operation and will be out until September/October time? Don't think he will be going in this transfer window.

Welcome Ryan, another very good signing with significant championship experience. I'm not convinced that necessarily means anything with regard to Finley or Grant, personally I think it probably means we aren't likely to see Rossiter anytime soon. Ward, Finley, Bogarde & Woods means we've addressed the area most thought we needed to strengthen. A no9 now and we can all sit back and watch everyone else scrabbling round on deadline day !!

Any gashead who isn’t happy with this signing should really take a look at themselves. On paper, a great addition to an already great squad.

Will this signing now see finley or grant moving on Re Grant, we don't know what his current contract is so he may be quite cheap, plus he covers a number of positions. If you think he should go because of injury issues, then who would sign him?

Good signing to fill an obvious gap in the squad when you factor in Wards injury history and Finleys disciplinary history.Don’t think we’ll be seeing much,if any,of Rossiter t his season.

With all the speculation around JCH, signing a defensive midfielder was always going to be a bit of an anti-climax. However, this is a fantastic signing. Woods is a player in his prime with over 270 Championship appearances, 28 of which came last season and he should boss L1 with Hull fans saying he is a solid Championship midfielder.
A midfield of Woods and Ward with Brown just in front them is very very good in L1, and with Bogarde, Evans and Finley to back them up, we have some real strength in depth.

I was expecting him to be 34 or something, a guy with that amount of experience at big clubs and more than a few years of his best to come before he starts to decline, you can’t really be disappointed by that.

Welcome to Bristol Rovers Ryan.
Most supporters will know little about Ryan.
There are very few "videos" of him playing.
This tells a compelling story.
Since 2015 he has played exclusively in the second tier.
For FIVE different clubs.
Big money has been offered for him.
Definitely fills a huge gap in our team.
Methinks - largely unknown, low expectations by BRFC fans, scores few goals, late signing, reputation for hard work, technically clever.
Candidate for Players Player of the year 23/24.
Candidate for Supporters MOTM most games.
Could just be the missing ingredient.
