Loving the volume of Gas flags hanging at the back of the Thatchers these days.
I have two Rovers flags I no longer have any use for and was wondering if anyone knows who is best to contact in order to arrange handing them over to the club & hopefully seeing them added to the collection at the back of the North terrace?

The flag are great.
Much better when the Thatchers end is noisy. Seemed a bit quiet today.

First 20mins right behind the lads, big noise every attack and during decent passages of play, soon as they nicked the lead it went dead. Completely stone dead silence. |

Atmosphere in the first two home games this season’s been appalling.
Other than one blast of Irene after the goal yesterday, it was virtually silent all match.
I’m sure the South Stand issue isn’t helping as you can’t hear the away fans when they’re only in that bit of uncovered terrace in the corner - and a bit of back & forth between the fans would definitely be an improvement - but we need to be providing much better support as fans IMO.

Normally when we were constantly fighting to stave off relegation 😂 Well enough opposing managers & players have said over the years that the Mem is a hard place to come & get a result as the home fans really get behind their side, so perhaps it’s better than we give it credit for. But I agree it was pretty flat yesterday, it seemed to me because we have signed some quality players that everyone was expecting a easy victory, which didn’t work out too well. |
