They stolpped the queue just behind me , which was around 3.10 -3.15, by which time they had shut all home turnstiles.

Just intrigued what time the ones that didn't get in got there. Poor planning all around including on some of our fans part. If we had all got there really early and weren't allowed in then it would really have shown Woking and the police up.

In fairness there was a huge queue when we got there ( 2.30 ish ) so those who were outside at 3.10 may well have been in a big queue and got there in plenty of time. We came through woking and the traffic was horrendous.
Bottom line is it makes no difference what time people got there - they were always going to have locked these people out it was just at what time they closed the gate. A very long way to go for nothing and I feel really sorry for those who were unlucky.
And yes we need plenty of threads on it as it was a digrace when it had been implied "don't worry about it being pay on the day we will get you in."
They could have got these people in easily by the way - woking terrace empty second half as they all moved to other end, 5 police could have moved the woking fans along a bit and created a line between fans, there were way too many police there any way and they could have done something useful. To be honest there was no physical barrier between all the rovers fans and hundreds of Woking fans in the main stand so any segregation excuse is not valid. Don't think I saw any sign of any trouble at all good humoured as most our games have been this year.
Kidderminster has to be tickets for away fans now .....

It does if they got there the last minute as it is bad organsation on their part. I was there early, no problems with traffic whatsoever.

The later you get anywhere the less chance there is of getting in. However in this case even if everyone turned up even when the turnstiles opened there would still have been people locked out, unless that is they had the nous to cover up their colours, keep their nut down, and blend in with the home fans.

We got there about 2.45 and were in the ground just before 2.55. There was plenty of room in the end behind the goal near the away entrance - the police showed incredible lack of compassion for Gasheads and no common sense by not creating a line of stewards/police in that end to allow the few hundred fans who had made the trip to watch the game. Its a credit to all Rovers fans locked out that they didnt make a bigger scene. There were police everywhere in town and Wetherspoons was closed to away supporters. Clearly they thought Rovers fans were going to cause havoc in Woking - how wrong they were, we just all wanted to have a few beers and enjoy the game.

It does if they got there the last minute as it is bad organsation on their part. I was there early, no problems with traffic whatsoever. We arrived at 1.30pm and the traffic was awful,we decided to park in the multistorie car park and walk to the ground, about fifteen minutes, then there was big queues to get in,which they then split into two queues, one for seats and one for standing. We got in the seats line, paid and when we finally made it in, my son wanted grub so we got in another queue,by the time we were served the game was starting and then we went to sit down, but no seats were left so we stood in the gangway half way up the stand and stayed there with about ten others till half time. Then went to see a friend who was locked out trying to watch the game through the gate,he told us the stewards were going to segregate the end next to the turnstlye but the old bill said no. And the reason he was late was because the coach he was on got lost, got there late and none of them got in,no fault of there own

Not really much point sticking up for the police on this one Weezord .
They could have saved the situation but couldn't be arsed .
Just don't help themselves sometimes.
